BBUK 2016 - Series discussion

So... I'm guessing that those that pushed the buttons are now nominated - given that when the task was being explained, they were told that "all rewards come at a price". The fact nominations are normally held by now makes me think that the price was more than just 'loyalty points'.

Yeah, most likely. So far that means Andy, Emma, Laura and Hughie will probably face eviction. But considering the task isn't over, there are going to be more.

I must applaud Jason and Evelyn for their effort. That was unfair leaving Evelyn awkwardly standing there while the others are enjoying themselves. I don't know what BB was trying to prove but Evelyn sure didn't fall for it. She took it like a champ.

I wonder if we'll see Cash next. That is, Jackson's son. Or maybe a mirror for Alex! And for Jayne I'd love to see Natalie show up.

Oh god Charlie, just shut up.

Hughie's point about South Africa is true - but it's the sort of thing 11 year olds notice.

I'm a cynical old bastard with a brick for a heart. Emma and her boy look like superheroes. And my God their conversation is dull. Does anyone know the story about Laura and Bernardo? Oh, she's telling the story.

The nice side of the house are in the other house.

Laura 'I don't want you to think I'm the sort of slapper who'd fuck a tattooed moron on TV... 'Who'd think she'd regret that? That it might have emotional repercussions?

Okay, that crossed from cringe-worthy to heartwarming and back via meh a few times. Girls on fart duty was cute, though.

I'm not a big fan of housemates getting visits and overnights. Just doesn't seem true to the idea of BB. You know locked away from the outside world and all that.

As for the Andy engagement, call me a cynical old bastard but please i thought that was contrived rubbish from Andys boyfriend in an attempt to garner some support for him. The whole engagement on TV thing is a wank.

Haha Lauren, mexican dude might want to get Lauren to run a quick std check before he goes there. I like her a lot but the image of that dirty Marco inhaling her face and sucking on her tit like a baby piglet is just to much for me to get past.

Poor old Evelyn left standing there like a shag on a rock was a little mean I thought.

Overall I was slightly bored by this episode but I was happy to have a break from screaming arguments and petulant temper tantrums. I assume they will be back tomorrow.

Jason I think is a good bloke but I'm positive now that Charlie is right, he has some deep secrets that he wants kept quite. Yesterday it turned out he had a 20 year old daughter and he wanted to bust out of the house to deal wif it. Today he says he has nothing in his life except his dog. Hmmmmm

There is no chance that Bernardo and Laura have chemistry or any history together. I wouldn't be surprised if he was chosen off the streets and given a script to read out. It looked like really bad acting, especially Laura over exaggerating on the podium.

Fartgate! What can I say....

Was this an episode of BBUK I was just watching or was it that movie were presumably everybody cries... "Beaches" I think it's called.

I am confused. :wacky:

what did he say about south africa?

Emma was extremely selfish during that task. She could of at least discussed it before pressing the button. I never liked her at first, but now I dislike her. I agree with Jason, Chelsea and Jackson. It's unfair on the others who haven't seen their family and friends. Come on! It's been only three weeks, not a decade. I also hate the fact it's changed Big Brother's original concept. The whole concept was to be AWAY from the outside world, not to invite it.

Also living for Jayne's meltdown at the end. I felt sorry for her but that was hilarious.
Laura sure is ecstatic about having Bernardo's babies! Aaand Jackson, not so much. I felt bad because of his son but I just couldn't keep a straight face during that Incredible Hulk moment.

I lol'd when after Emma had pushed her button so that the three boyfriends would get to enter the house, Laura and Andy unnecessarily pushed theirs and spent an additional 10 points for absolutely no reason.

Just caught up, and I totes agree!

Human nature at its worst is so interesting to watch unravel regarding the haves and have nots with the task. Jackson's reaction to not seeing his son was pathetic. The more I watch Andy the more I like him, and the more I see Emma, the more I dislike her.

Sam: I really am stoked fer Andy, cause he's obviously popular outside so I guess I better act like I like him. If I get tempted I am going to take what's mine.

Andy has clearly found some confidence, after surviving twice and being reminded of home and vindicated for the things he thinks. I wonder though if this will make him more, or maybe less, likeable.

Sorry for having to endure three consecutive posts from the same poster, but:

Laytesha and other's reaction reminded me of my favourites Czech joke:

The was an unhappy farmer in his field, and God comes down and says 'What is wrong, my son?'

The farmer blubs ' It's my neighbour (sniff). He's got a goat.'

'And would you like to have a goat, my son?'

'No,' sobbed the farmer.' I want you to kill his goat.'

Emma was extremely selfish during that task.
Yeah I'm not sure what to make of her really. I've wanted to like her but someone (Natalie?) Said something about there being two sides to Emma.

If they fail the shopping task they want to not buy avocados. She should live on rice.

So... what was I just watching? The bold and the beautiful?

Why can't they condense those cry and sob fests into one show? Why use up 2 days?

Did Sam get married to his mother and why did the "gangsta" kick the suitcase?

Did anything else happen? :wacky:

This could be spoilers:

There is a YouTube video of another choice, where Layteshà and Jackson could watch video messages from their kids, like old school Survivor. Teesh pressed straight away, and Jackson went all martyr 'It's 10 points... People'll miss out on a shop, won-it. It's 10 points fam.'

So, I guess it's that. And then he had a sook and displayed his poor impulse control again.

Playing for airtime? Lost his mind? Dunno. And I don't know if it'll be on tonight or what.

(I'm on mobile so I can't link it.)

I don't know why they just don't all agree to just throw temptation tasks.

Loved Jayne's Nikki Grahame impersonation in the DR at the end of today's ep. I don't think it was intentional but it was spot on.
