Omg how scary are the teeth of Harries? I know wrong forum.
...well... here we go... (no spoilers tonight perhaps?)... Chloe's safe... (how I don't know)... Matt makes a special note that Olivia got all the elements on the plate but Olivia is going home... (as we all knew)... oh well... at least Karmen is safe so I am happy at least... a good result in my books... cheers.

I liked that Ten quite possibly made special allowances for Reynold to advertise Koi prominently on his apron. His website must have gone berserk in the last 24 hrs.I did a bit of investigating of Reynold's "Kio" restaurant online and sifted through the reviews. Overall, the messages/ratings were 50/50.
Some raved and others were not impressed. The desserts start at about $8.00 up to $12.00. I read these reviews on a website called "Zamato". I know where the restaurant is (where the old Carlton United Brewery Factory was in Chippendale).
It's a split level restaurant. Mains/savoury dishes upstairs. Desserts, downstairs with a garden forecourt. Limited seating.
Lol yeah well that's why I wanted to check out not only his website but others that food bloggers comment on their visits to restaurants in Sydney.I liked that Ten quite possibly made special allowances for Reynold to advertise Koi prominently on his apron. And they have sooo many pretty pictures lolLol yeah well that's why I wanted to check out not only his website but others that food bloggers comment on their visits to restaurants in Sydney.
There are quite a few if you want to check it out.
Reynold's "Koi" Restaurant is very classy looking. I read that you don't have to especially sit in there to have your dessert. They have a garden forecourt that you can sit around and enjoy your dessert or you can even get takeaway.

...I've been doing some homework too Groover... here are some photos of the Restaurant and some of the desserts... the rows of desserts are at the front desk or whatever and are probably the ones that range from $8-$12... you can buy them separately or get the 'dessert special'... you get three choices for $60 which is the max for 3 people apparently... there's a two week wait for seats so you're advised to book two weeks ahead... I was talking to my sweet darling wife about this... (she's definitely coming along because she loves Reynold)... she hopes to meet him and apparently he is always there with his brother so the chances of meeting him are pretty good...
...I'm suggesting a Saturday morning/lunchtime or afternoon meeting rather than a night time meeting because parking may be easier and the place less hectic... as I said to Mrs Sticky... it may be best to order individual desserts rather than order the 'dessert special' because how do you know on how much sweet stuff you can eat?... some people may be able to eat only one or two whereas other may be able to eat more lol!... (that may be me:shy:)...
...apparently the coffee gets a really high rating too so I'll have to try that for sure too methinks!... it's BYO grog because Reynold hasn't got his license to serve alcohol yet... from the look of the coffee in image 5 below it does look yummy to me... so there we have it Groover... let's figure out on how to get people interested in this... if you want... either you or me can either bring it up in the 'General Discussion' thread or set up a temporary thread of it's own in 'The Lounge' itself perhaps?... perhaps under the title of 'Sydney get together... is anyone interested?' or whatever...
...anyhow... it looks like the ball is rolling now for this to happen doesn't it?... so what do you want to do from here my friend?... cheers.

I LOVE:inlove: "Popcorn" the song/music (really)....what's the bet that they play the 'popcorn' music during this challenge at one stage or another?... who am I kidding?... they have their own very very loud 'dramatic music' that just gets louder and louder and LOUDER all the time haven't they?... cheers.

I think in the "Notices" part of this site would be the best place to advertise this meet up? I am super excited for it to happen.![]()
