...hahaha!... perhaps Groover lol!... there's nothing wrong with Chefs putting on weight because my dad always used to say to me... "never trust a skinny Chef and never trust a fat Doctor!... both aren't doing their jobs properly!"... cheers.

...Amen to all of those comments... who wants to watch the judges showing off?... this is Masterchef... not Masterclass!... if I want to see Chefs cook I'll watch a show with Chefs cooking... this is as boring as watching a cake collapse... cheers.

I escaped half way through the masterclass. YAWN!! When it used to be on Friday night I never used to watch them.

I'm glad Matt and Harry were safe in the elimination but gees, I know Cecelia has her 'story' and all but how long are they going to keep her around? She's this year's Rose to me..
 
That risotto did look good though. I've never tried risotto. I want to make that exact one. I found out while googling that white beef stock is made with veal bones. OMFG at that cheesecake. That's my most favourite thing ever!!! I will try that exact one too (maybe add more lemon though). Did anyone stick around long enough to see Matt take the cheesecake biscuit base out of the oven with his bare hands? Why didn't he burn himself 😱

Now Gary is making some a duck pho. Yawn.

The elimination episode. I knew that guy was gonna go... because I had no idea who he was & don't think i've even seen him before? I wonder why the masterclass isn't on a Friday anymore.

...I agree with you Insomniac... she is this years Rose to me too... I hope that they don't keep managing to scrape her home in each episode... it's tiresome and tedious to watch it happen now let alone over a period of weeks... be kind to her and let her leave guys... please!... cheers.
 
Yeah, I tried, I did really. To get back into MC,but it bores me to death. I will drop in and watch results and guests I suppose. Over renos also, unless it is Masters of Flip or UK quirky building stuff
 
Agree re: last night's episode being too long. Would've preferred if it was on Friday, like a few of you said. I have the patience for Friday, Thursday I need to watch Survivor....
 
I watched it all a night behind (thanks newspaper for spoiling the loser just because he was from SA), and whacking masterclass onto the end of an elimination night made the show too long and tedious. I wouldn't care if they ditched masterclass altogether. Without the threat of elimination you're just watching something on the food channel.
 
Also whoops I forgot to post ratings on Friday. The elimination episode rated at 970,000 ranked 5th for the night and won every demo. The masterclass rated at 710,000 and came 2nd in the 25-54 and the 18-49 demos and came 4th in the 16-39 demos.
