In the oscars photos above - who is the sullen looking woman who has the single enlarged photo. She has her hair out, medium long, brown, and is wearing a sort of silvery sequiny/nude (looks almost olive in the smaller photos) top with the black/pearl choker collar and a black skirt.

LORDE awesome young singer, she was about 16 when she did this

And sorry about the Versace ref yesterday all, it turned out to be utter crap soapy trash, I thought it was going to be a doco.

@Mooseface have you tried clicking the link in my signature to his soundcloud, most of his stuff he puts there for free, he learnt you make no money selling music, it is all gigs except for some megastars now.

Style is not frivolous, and if anyone insults you for stylish pursuits, this thread, etc

ABC Arts on iview presents a unique six-part short-form documentary seriesFashpack: Freetown, which peels back the colourful layers of an unlikely fashion hot spot, looking at how personal style has become a force that can rise above hardships.
After arriving in Freetown to work for UNICEF in 2011, Australian aid worker Jo Dunlop was struck by the spirit and style of its residents and soon started documenting their bold fashions through a blog.

“I started a blog to try to understand how fashion has become a force of creativity in the face of catastrophe. It opened up a world of conversations to me, introduced me to a community of wonderful people and reconfirmed that style has zero to do with your bank balance.” – Jo Dunlop

In Fashpack: Freetown Dunlop turns presenter to chronicle the bold outfits of the city’s brightest personalities as they live amid the mayhem of urban West Africa.

From a self-elected motorcyle taxi union leader to a street preacher and a single mum who proves you don’t need money to have style, these Freetown locals daringly create the characters they want to be through their clothes.

The series also explores how fashion became a symbol of resilience amidst the devastation of the 2014 Ebola outbreak. Dunlop worked at a hospital and documented the human stories of Ebola while photographing health care workers in Africana print scrubs, a popular trend across treatment centres.

Fashpack: Freetown has fashion at its centre, but is equally about exploring what’s under the surface of people in a place that is largely misinterpreted or ignored by western media. It’s a journey to the source of Sierra Leone’s trademark energy and unwavering self-expression in the face of adversity.

Fashpack: Freetown reveals a unique side of a vibrant, chaotic and surprisingly stylish community who use fashion as a way to rise above the hardships of living in Sierra Leone.”

Quotes from series;

“The best way we can show that we are strong is with what we wear. You have to feel good every single day when you go out because every day is a struggle.” Mary-Ann, creator of Madam Wokie brand

“The moment I put on good clothes I have more money.” Mariama, bar tender and single mother

“I starve my stomach to buy this... To maintain that question of status.” Street preacher, Great Hero

Fashpack: Freetown is six-part short, factual series commissioned by ABC Arts for ABC Arts on iview to publish on Tuesday March 15 2016.

Freetown them :)

Weren't you the one slagging off on a woman in this very thread for being too short, too fat and too tattooed to wear pink frills?! Advising that she leave those sorts of fashion choices to runway models?!

Freetown them indeed.

Plus - grow a foot, lose 15kgs, remove the ugly tats, and get a new hairstyle, yeah all would be well.
Oh - just wear a bras would help 500%.
She thinks she can dress like a supermodel.
Frills, frou, frou, pleats, and gathering - leave it to models, most of us get swamped by all that. Nobody but a stick thin model could wear that toilet doily.
She is an attractive girl, but nothing she wears suits her, everything wears her.
Why is she so obsessed with pretty? Tats don't go with pretty.

I knew I didn't dream it.

You need to take your own advice and respect her right to "Freetown".

Chasing away flies @Witty Banter , love the crusade, however

Fashion and style, are 2 very different things

Was I too harsh, well I'm sure Lena just hangs on my words:):):) - she did sack her stylist straight after this nasty joke she played on Lena, poor thing

Well lapdogged mutley! You've excelled yourself. So brooding and gnashy.
Surely the irony is not lost on you?

But credit where credit is due, well lapdogged Kxk! You've excelled yourself. So crusadery, brooding and gnashy.
