Lol, no, my tv isn't mpeg4 compatible. Went to Dick Smith down the road from me and they have them for $50 but are selling them for 20% less than advertised price. I was going to buy one this afternoon but got caught up in my dim sim and potato cake and forgot to go to the ATM. There are plenty so tomorrow it is. @jessy_girl , have a look at Mr Smith's.

Oh interesting - thanks for that, I'll have a squiz. I guess things will be pretty cheap there too, I actually thought they were already closed down.

At that price I doubt I'll care much, but warning duly noted. In the next few years I'm thinking that a new tv would be in the offing too. Also, if it breaks down, I'll disconnect it and not have those channels that so far I've not missed. I'm game :)

Working a few extra shifts this week - Wednesday night was bad and really quiet and I felt guilty taking my wages, so tonight when I was called in, I took my wages in food (my call). Has stacked my freezer up for quite a few meals and all quality Seafood.

I know how bad it can be to have a few bad nights in the hospitality industry.

Anyway, I think I am up for the next 4 nights for working and that is OK, from 3 nights to 6 in a row - all good! Stacking up on prawns for Easter here - YUMYUM

Pity someone stole our BBQ :(

Found out today that they are mpeg2 so bought a TEAC one at JB.

My Sunday late night ritual is to go home, walk the terrorists, shower, then make chipolata's, baked tomato, fried eggs and toast and have brekky with my partner.

Given that I am starving right now, I am salivating at the thought!!

I've just had two crumpets, one with vegemite, the other with peanut butter (smooth). Some chilled water to wash it down. Burned the area behind my top teeth last night at dinner and the vegemite hurts it.

I'm working tonight, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It's straight to bed for me. Might have brekky out on Wednesday morning.
