Liquorice ice cream?!

Oh my God!

Yuckkkkkkkk!

Is it really a thing?
It is, in a fetching shade of grey. You can buy it in all excellent icecream shops. I like it with bubblegum flavour. I think that shop on Lygon St, near the park might have some. If the business is still there, that is. My nightshift treat this week can be that combo. Happy though to shout you a double in flavours of your choice.

Are either of you going to dress up?!

Sounds like a blast! I love Sydney. We try to get to Sydney and Melbourne for a few days every year. That Harbour is heaven to me.

No dress ups for me I don't think, I used to dress a little bit for the theme of my party but these days the best I can does wear a bikini top in public, even though it's Mardi Gras and literally anything goes I feel too old to be showing my midriff, so yeah, no costume is my guess.

Oops sorry everyone for the spam. But damn this talk of ice cream really has my attention, and yes as a kid I would eat a can of sweetened condensed milk as a snack or my other favourite was butter and sugar mixed together. Much to my mother's horror of course when she would later find out.

Haha yeah fair call,I think most people there are yet to go home so it's a great recovery day kick on in one, Monday is the real killer!

Im dreading the monday already, Im pretty sure will be going the next day[DOUBLEPOST=1456644514][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh hell no, that sounds all kinds of wrong.

Thats what I thought, but people tell me its "delicious" Im fairly dubious of that

How are you Lucas?

Have you got any plans or goals for this year?

I am good thank you.

No plans for anything exciting just yet. I am kind of just twaddling (is that even a word and I hope it's not rude) through the days at this point.

Any goals? Well I am trying to get a bit fitter. Regular exercise is becoming well ...regular! Haha.

Yeah, the Monday sucks, especially if you have to work - totally worth it though!

Hmm I'm still suss. I guess the avocado could be creamy but umm yeah, no thanks. Why does everyone want green produce in their drinks?!

I see SBS is playing Gayby Baby tonight. Most of their Mardi Gras programming is questionable but I really should watch this doco :writing:

They have a lot of Queer movies on SBS on Demand. I looked at the SBS TV guide and all they had was "Priscilla" and "Weekend" scheduled next week.

If anyone is interested in watching any gay movies I liked this one when I saw it on SBS many years ago. I bought it on DVD too.

This movie by French-Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallée (Dallas Buyers Club) portrays the bonds between a father and his five sons, as told from the perspective of teenage Zachary (Marc-André Grondin). A sexually-confused Christmas Day baby who likes to march to the beat of his own drum, Zachary forces himself to live a lie in order to suit his gruff father's (Michel Cote) traditional expectations.

There was also another movie that aired on SBS years ago with Mischa Barton that I liked too called "Lost & Delirious". Unfortunately it is not on SBS on Demand. :(

Do you have an awesome relationship yourself?

15 years on, it does have it ups and downs. Every relationship cannot be 100% awesome, but we do have honesty and that does cause many conflicts, but in the end, by truth and no worries about being busted for hiding stuff and lies works out well for all concerned.
If it does not work out in the end and we will go our seperate ways, and at least we will be friends. Most of my past relationships have ended with great ongoing friendships.

I can imagine that 'keeping yourself on your toes' by making sure your house is in order, might be exhilarating, but draining. I just don't get it.

I was just expressing my view and opinion about it all

I completely agree. I was going to say something similar but thought it didn't involve me so refrained from posting.

I should add that I do not think Hooley intended anything malicious by her comments. From knowing Hooley over the last year or so I have seen her be nothing but kind to everyone.

Thank You, Lucas. I am who I am and do care.

There was nothing malicious in my comments, at all. It was just a difference of opinion. It never is.

I just believe you should not hide stuff from those you love and those that love you! I don't understand why people do that and well, if they do -good luck to them. It is really it is none of my business and I should not even give my opinion here anymore :)

Have a Great Monday All xxxx

Good morning OT Thread!

The sun is up! The birds are singing and it is time for me to embrace my Monday!!!!!

So good when someone cancels work on me with only a few hours notice so they still have to pay me - the closest I ever come to annual leave or chucking a sickie.

Oh yes. I love it when they do that too. Sometimes they are not there or forget and send me away again which is also good but not as good obviously because of the travel time. Text cancellations are best.
