Sweetgeek returned after a bit of an absence from the forum. Although most people didn't seem to be too concerned about her, seeing they had their own lives to live, there was some speculation by some of the more troublesome members of this forum about why she hadn't been posting here, but that may have been a bit of trolling on their part. Whatever it was, it was not very smart on their part.

Whilst sweetgeek was away there was a lot of arguing. Posters picking fights with each other and being very mean and grumpy. Her calming and happy influence was clearly missed on here. Hopefully her presence on here will enable people to become less angry with each other. Or not. I mean the arguing would still have continued even if she had been here over the past month. She aint no miracle worker.

Mooseface is a cultural institution on these forums. Well at least for me she is, I can't really speak for anyone here, but this is my report so they should put forward their own arguments on why they disagree with me and send it in a stamped self adressed envelope to 'idon'tgiveafucksville, nowhere 666'. Anyway, mooseface is quite a delightful poster who I find very amusing. Her posts are always quite interesting, and she has obviously had a lot of life experience.

But is she a moose or a person? I would say that she is a human. I mean she not only types on a computer, but she makes sense on it as well. Let's say that a scientist, taking a break from trying to cure world hunger, starts to teach a moose to type on a computer. That may be achievable, I don't know. I'm no moosepert. But what I do know is that a moose probably wouldn't have made as much sense as mooseface does. Because mooseface types in a clear and correct manner. A moose would just be all garbled'tfhjkggykgtjyjgu' and it would read like gibberish (although still would make more sense than witty). So that is one reason why I don't think that mooseface is actually a moose.

Though the question has to be asked: if mooseface is a human, then why pick the name mooseface? Did she want us to get all confused? To have us scratching our heads and stroking our beards as we muttered and murmured silently to ourselves trying to work out if mooseface was really a moose or not. And why we were all getting confused, she was traveling around the world stealing precious jewells from the rich and famous! It all makes sense now. She called herself mooseface to confuse us all and enable her to steal valuable stuff.....I think.

Well, looks like I was wrong there. Sorry about that. Just thought that a jewel thief would be the most likely explanation. But maybe there are some other reasons why mooseface chose the username of mooseface. Reasons that I had never even thought about in my entire life. Because sometimes a different perspective can be really helpful to you if you choose to let it be that way. But if you close your eyes you are just going to keep bumping into everything. So yeah I think I am comfortably satisfied that mooseface is in fact human, and is definetly not an international jewel thief.

Best Reepbot Report Ever! So far. And I expect there will be many more to come... So I am putting it out there now before it gets surpassed by the next Best Reepbot report Ever. I especially liked the line '... still make more sense than...' That did make me laugh out loud! Ok. I'm off to work. Next time I am back at my iPad most of you will probably be fast asleep.
 
i have decided to increase my sci fi knowledge, as it is sorely lacking in many areas. so i got out 'farscape' from the library. i will try to get out more sci fi videos from the library so as to become a better member of the sci fi club. i will provide commentry on it when necessary, or not.

other series i need to watch are (ok, not need, but just go with me here please):

star trek os

star trek tng

star trek voyager

star trek dns

stargate sg1

battlestar gallatica

v (original series)

babylon 5

firefly

the x files

buffy (is that scifi?)


any other recommendations? i hope i can enjoy sci fi as much as i do crime and mystery shows (if there was a crime and mystery club i would go to that in a heartbeat.)

Firefly is scifi. Not sure Buffy would be classified as scifi. But you should definitely watch it anyway. I love love loved Buffy!!! Just go with it for the first few episodes. It takes a little while for the dialogue to get really tight but when it does it is Very Very Funny. And Smart. (Well... I thought so!!)
