General O/T Chit Chat Thread

Thanks everyone for your support and prayers for my skin. You did pray didn't you? I didn't ask you to but I assume that you did. Anyway, the good news there is a huge improvement, I now have just 4 small pimples. One is still a bit Charlie Sheen looking but I feel ok to leave the house today as the other 3 are pretty flat and not red at all.

I made it my wish as I blew out my candles and I promise I didn't hit the platter with the knife when I cut it so it should be perfection

Totally - I discovered this amazing thing where I only keep in touch with real friends and the conversations we have are real. And now you don't need a facebook account for messenger so I can still be in the group threads I have with a few friends. I actually still have an account which I use for family living overseas, but it's a bit pointless since I never actually use it.

I thought I might miss things like funny/interesting news articles but once again I discovered that Facebook is not the only way get this info.

That said, I love Instagram and that is the fakest of the fake.

I use the Kindle app too. I found it really confusing trying to buy books initially though. Because I have an iPad I can't buy them through the kindle app. I have to open safari and go to the Amazon page to purchase and click in the right device. I think Bleachy may have been the one who walked me through it. I can download a sample of the book from Kindle, but I can't purchase it. Super annoying 1st world problem.

What is this thing?

Mutts has like 100 chat things. I only ever use messenger.

AWWWWWWWW - but I want to share my pizza stains and red wine dribble and my dog ears to mark my pages that come smaller and bigger and smaller within every chapter :(

I have not watched SOA for a while, was tossing up whether or not I would return to watching it, but you unintentional spoiler has sealed SOA fate for me... I give up....
I'm not doing well with TV shows lately, I've had to stop watch quite a few recently.

Try and stay strong. And remember, there will always be other tv shows to get you through the sadness and loss you are feeling right now.

You're right, I survived, and as the saying goes, whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Assuming there is a correlation between suffering and acquired strength I'm going to be one tough woman now.
