Reepbot has gone MIA and Witty is channeling Reepbot and answering questions on his behalf. Except we suspect that the messages are getting intercepted somehow.

Meanwhile I am having a cooking ultamarathon so I finally, hopefully don't eat crap during the week for a change.
There ain't no show without Punch I tells ya!

It must be killing Witty.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I am going to embark on my work lunch menu today. I tend to bang up a vege quiche and take that each day with salad.

Oh, I missed the MIA post from moonface lol mmmmm

Funny how everything seems more readable, but out of context .........

What do you put in your veggie quiche? I need inspiration :)

Dropping in here ......

last book I read was Cloudstreet - after I saw the telemovie

The book was better, but I enjoyed having a Picture in my head of those, that were cast ........

I love a twisted tale :)
I very seldom see the movie after I read the book.

I will have an Amazon scroll for it.

I am currently reading a Lynda la Plante novel called Cold Heart, which is good. I have an iPad, but I do much prefer the kindle app as opposed to iBooks. Apple certainly didn't make it easy when it comes to purchasing books from Amazon.

Sons of Anachy, we are up to Season 5, and living it.

Could the avid watchers in here not have had the basic kindness to tell me that Opie was going to be murdered?!?! I swear to Prisus, if anything happens to Bobby, I will go loco!!!!
not going to spoil it for you ... i still need to finish series 6 ... it just got a bit tooo much and i had to stop ...

i remember when we started watching it ... got about 3 eps in .... had to drive out whoopwhoop to where husbands birthday experience of rally driving was ... winding through beautiful country roads when we heard the roar of many many bikes ... suddenly were being passed by about 30 or so of them ... we needed to pullover at next place and 10 or so bikes had also pulled over ... i really needed to "use the facilities" but didnt want to get out of the car as there was a queue and all of them were in leathers and i felt intimidated. .. husband as usual has no such qualms and discussed the weather and where they were headed ...

in comparison to how it got later in the series and in subsequent series the first 3 were pretty tame and i was just being a total wuss ... didnt have my "inner Gemma" happening that day and my inner crimmy totally let me down ;)

I love my Facebook account. I think the secret to my enjoyment is I only ever add people I like or love.

I love reading. I seem to swing between historical and thrillers.

What's your choice of literary poison?

I did love Facebook but unfortunately even the people I love became a little insufferable on there after a while. There was the one extreme of people having a "life sucks" rant the second even something remotely inconvenient happened (I'm talking one of my friends going into a full on "life isn't fair" meltdown because her mascara spilled in her suitcase). I found I was spending a lot of time on there and feeling down everytime I looked on there. The other extremes were people who seemed to be going above and beyond to try and makes their lives look better than everyone else's. My life is much happier since ditching it. I also find I have better relationships with my friends (I was scared it would be the opposite) because you see which ones really care about you and want to catch up and see what you've been up to and it's exciting hearing them tell me things I didn't already see on FB. There are certainly downsides for me not using it (not having instant contact with everyone for example) but I realised I really didn't need it once it was gone.

I'll pretty much read anything but I do love thrillers and historical reads too :). I just finished reading The People Smuggler on Saturday. It was eye opening but very intense. Still trying to digest it.

I woke up to a little bird telling me the Trala/Mutley/Jess/Bleachy/Coops/Tuttle obsessing had been dialled right back. If what the little bird says is true, there were 6 posts when he didn't even mention our names!!

I get that personalities clash at times, but the constant following and quoting and repetitiveness ridiculousness of it made it almost impossible to enjoy the forum.

There was stuff being said that I was furious about and it didn't involve me at all.

I had the most wonderful weekend. Hope you had a nice surprise visit with your man @mutleyp and a terrific birthday @Trala. Hope everyone else enjoyed the weekend also. I'm still on a high :)

I just realised over the whole weekend I only took one photo. And that was looking over the golf course from the balcony off my bedroom when I woke up on Saturday morning. I think it actually means I had a great weekend. Too busy being with my friends and enjoying the natural beauty surrounds to be taking selfies :)

Life is good. :)

YAY! Im so glad you had a wonderful weekend away! So good living in the moment, well deserved :D

Excuse my ignorance - but do you read yours books on an ipad? I am SOOOOO behind the times if so ....... I get a book and a book light - maybe that is where I am going wrong :(

I have hard covered books everywhere here - are they wothless now? :(

Today I put zucchini, rocket, leek, thyme, garlic, Parmesan and egg. Salt and pepper. Thinly sliced tomato on top. It was pretty good. But don't call me moonface.

Opie :(

I so didn't see it coming.

Oh Clay! I hate that guy.

You can't have a past like mine without a heavy bikie affiliation woven through it. Bikies are just like you and me, except they cook drugs for a living, hide the profit by money laundering through tattoo shops, and beat people who fuck them off.

Seriously though, while the lifestyle is very different to the one I live now the core of 1% is family, friends and trying to live your dream, just like the vast majority.

Gemma?! I just love hate her!!

I tell you one I am not too fussed on. Jax wife. She is a miserable looking woman.

Only have a few friends in oz on mine but mostly people and family overseas

Have got my god daughter who lives locally on it ... she was married last December ... i swear she uploaded every single wedding photo taken by photographer friends and family ... got to the point i was totally sick and tired of it ... my sons were also sick of it as they also have her on theirs ... now that supply of new photos has dried up she updates her profile pic weekly to one wedding snap or another ... im almost fondly remembering the days she was sharing happy snaps of their food!!!

Oh for heaven's sake!! Do you see the icon called 'iBooks'???!!! It's orange with a symbol of - wait for it - a BOOK..! ...or you could get the kindle app....

Correction/Apology. I thought you said HOW do you read books on iPad. (Which a lot of people I know WOULD ask, despite having an iPad and the iBooks app)...Again - apologies..!

I have a life rule. To be a part of my inner circle you need to provide me with at least one L. You need to make me feel loved, make me laugh or inspire me to learn.

Facebook is no different. A few defectives in here are friends and I really love to be able to share in their actual lives.

These people who base their worth on their Facebook friend number are a worry. The amount of people who I barely know who try and add me is cray cray. I actually tightened my add friend request thingy due to the number of friends of friends who were trying to add me!

Have you read Pillars of the Earth?
By Ken Follet

So got thrilling (insert sarcasm emoji) news that youngest son has booked himself a holiday during his 7 week break after graduation ...

Off to Turkey and the Balkans ...

He couldn't go see Uluru and the Kimberleys? Head to the Whitsundays?

He reminded me that at 19 he headed off to Vietnam and Cambodia with nothing booked but his flights ...

Somehow it didn't make me feel any better ...

I guess when he's eventually deployed overseas I'll think fondly back on his 'tame' holiday overseas .... BUT ...

oops LOL I actually did an edit and I called you mooface before that LOL - Should rely on the quotey button LOL

BTW - Your pic does not look like a moonface LOL

Oh absolutely. Unfortunately also it seems a lot of people care more about their image than anything these days and social media is a good platform for them to let that out. How they portray themselves being more important than who they actually are as people, etc.

And no I haven't read it. Good?

No :( So sorry for my ignorance/not knowing asI have never seen that icon ....
