HAVE A NECTARINE, GONK
Peter Capaldi is here, well in Sydney for that expensive Doctor fest, and he was just on The Project, charming as usual.
And if you haven't watched the David clip one page back, p267, it is unmissable, inspiring and heart melting.
Was just popping in to say Capaldi is on The Project.
...thanks for that heads up on Peter Capaldi kxk and Meglos... I just watched it on the Channel 10 catch up website... the only trouble is that the interview was way too short!... thanks again... cheers.
I liked the way they tried to get him to say we're all crazy loons and he was like, actually people who like Doctor Who are very intelligent and creative actually.
...I so noticed that too Meglos... he so respects his fans so he would've thought of them as imbeciles and morons for trying insinuate it wouldn't he?... that's the problem with people like Peter Capaldi doing appearances on shows like this... all they want to do is make fun of devoted fanbases... I hate comperes like that... it makes them look like idiots... cheers.
Peter Capaldi coming up on Sunrise now
...I missed that one too Meglos but I'll try and catch up on that on the 7 website... cheers.

It was a good one. Andrew O'Keefe is a bit of a fan so there was none of the mocking.

kxk, those award clips were just lovely. Can't thank you enough for posting.

David is still so young, it will be really interesting to see where his career takes him.

...The Moff HAD to do it didn't he?... he just HAD to kill Clara!... not let her exist in another Timeline or another dimension or just let her 'move on' back to her normal lifestyle (like Sarah-Jane Smith) as before she met The Doctor could he?... NO!... he HAD to kill her off permanently!... that's the one thing that I didn't want him to do but now it's done!... well done Moff... I hope that you are proud of yourself... I really liked Clara as a companion...
...I knew that Jenna was going to leave the series so I shouldn't be so narked off about it but I am... although l must admit that I was tiring of Clara because she was becoming so 'cocky' and 'bossy' as of late and she really thought that she was bulletproof after being saved by The Doctor so many times as far as I'm concerned but she did really need to go before her character was really going to give me the irrits but to kill her off completely?... that's just so sad...
...back to the episode... it was a great story... well written and plenty of twists and turns... Capaldi and Jenna put in such great performances didn't they?... that scene when both The Doctor and Clara just looked at each other when they both realised that Clara was definitely going to die was superb... their eyes and facial expressions made that scene... it was both sad and gut wrenching at the same time wasn't it?...
...Maisie Williams's return as 'Mayor Me' was good to see but what she ended up causing was terrible in the end... I do have a few things that are bugging me about this episode so I may as well say them I guess... tell me if you agree...
(1)... when The Doctor knew for sure that Clara was going to die why didn't he just encase Clara into that 'Stasis Machine' to play for time and then materialise The Tardis around her to whisk her off somewhere else to save her?...
(2)... when Clara was dangling upside down out of the door of The Tardis... why didn't those stupid 'Sonic Sunglasses ' fall off of Clara's face?...
(3)...I'm wondering whether... 'They'... (that Mayor Me keeps referring to) could possibly be the other Timelords from Gallifrey that are so intent of capturing The Doctor to bring him back to answer for his 'original crimes' from William Hartnell's days?... (I know... that's a long stretch isn't it?)... lol!... but who else apart from Missy or Davros could be so intent on this quest to capture him in this point of The Doctor's Timeline?...
(4)... when Mayor Me said... "I guarantee the safety of Clara Oswald... she will be under my personal protection... that is absolute!"... could that be an open ended escape route to resurrect Clara at a future date possibly?...
...at least Clara got a good farewell out of the series... to this day Donna Noble's exit from the series still ranks as one of the saddest exits for a companion for me... to have all those travels around the Universe and not being able to remember them is worse than death for me... I bawled my tits off when that happened... with Clara's death I was saddened by it but ended up accepting it after the initial disappointment... the worst thing that could have happened was a 'dead-Clara-gets-reunited-with-Danny-Pink' schmaltzy reunion scene... that would have so stuffed the episode up methinks!... thank god that didn't happen because I would've really gone off my head lol!...
...with all of those other 'Impossible Girls' out there... could Clara be the 'impossible girl' that may reappear along The Doctor's Timeline once again?... only The Moff knows I guess lol!... overall a great episode... two more episodes to go... the second half of this story is one of them... but the last episode?... what's going to be the 'cliff-hanger' that tops Clara's death?... what could possibly outdo that?... I can't wait to see what it ends up being... I really can't!... it better be good or The Moff has played his cards too early hasn't he?... lol!... cheers.

...I haven't seen that before... she looks quite sexy in that lol!... on the cover it says... "Clara is no longer the apprentice-she's sort of become the Doctor... it's time we saw the repercussions"... that sort of sums up what I was saying above when I said... "...Clara's becoming so 'cocky' and 'bossy' as of late and she really thought that she was bulletproof after being saved by The Doctor so many times"... her character was starting to take over the lead role in The Tardis so she really did have to go in my opinion... her having to die was so unnecessary as far as I'm concerned...
...anyhow... it'll be interesting to see who will replace Clara now... I can't see it being 'Mayor Me' because of what she did... it won't be Riggsy because of the 'small human' so god knows who it's going to be... interesting times ahead indeed!... cheers.
