In this instance it'd probably be if I went to POTR and I was really hungry and keen for some pancakes and that was the only thing they were able to make and my alternative was no pancakes.

Jessy: I need pancakes now!
Pancake boss: Sorry, we are all out of pancakes.
Jessy: But i want them now!
(Pancake boss walks back to the kitchen)
Pancake Boss: Please Stamos we gotta find something!
John Stamos: Don't worry boss. I found some extra pancake stuff while you were gone.
Pancake boss: John Stamos you beautiful son of a bitch! Now I can bail my daughter out of jail!

Oh I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm now even more keen for a trip there tomorrow. It presents the typical dilemma though, do I stick with what I know is good or risk trying a new one?

Yes I think so too. My palette is too fussy as it is, when I like something I'm best to just ride it out to the bitter end. Why risk eating something inferior and the tantrum that would inevitably follow?

This is a bit drastic but since my pancake plans fell through due to other commitments I had to settle for Hungry Jack's. Well that part isn't drastic but I didn't really enjoy it that much. I tried new items so maybe that's it but I kinda wanted to bin it. The caramel shake was good though of course. Do I try again with a classic whopper? Surely this isn't the end of my love affair with HJs.

Oh no! You've both tried the zinger chips? I can't believe I haven't yet. Tomorrow maybe. Well this week at least.
Foods I have eaten this weekend include:
- custard tart
- vanilla slice
- crap load of roast ham and lamb
- this insanely decadent cake on par with some pics in this thread - just 1 piece!
- 2 x tacos
- some sliders
- cheese... lots of cheese...
- 2 x servings of hot chips
- a packet of chips
- a burger
- kebab
- 2 x doughnuts
- lolly bag.
There is more too, but that's the jist of it.

A slider is one of those mini burgers. You'd hate them no doubt as they have become synonymous with hipsters.
I will pass on your salad and banana but the rest sounds good. I also had some eggs Benedict today and actually I had a banana smoothie so I had bananas after all.

Bananas are allright but i would rather have raspberries. I love salad.

I had lebkuchen.... does that count for something? They are those round/disc gingerbread cake/biscuit things, with a spice mixture which includes cardamom and citrus peel (very yum), and then usually a very very very thin chocolate coat over the top. Like only a few molecules thick. The base is usually left as kind a flexible rice paper (also super thin)
