I saw some friends last night and it was so good as we had such a detailed conversation about ice cream. I always feel like no one understands how good it is, so great to find some people who get me. One friend went to the bathroom as I was discussing gaytimes and when she came back gaytimes were still front and centre of the conversation.

I had an allergic reaction to ice cream so obviously I can't go anywhere near it:tongue:
I feel very left out, trust me, after chocolate, sport and sex...its the most talked about topic going around!

Oh noooo. Aside from the obvious problems with an allergic reaction I can see the social problems there. I will gladly pass on any convo about sport but it seems there is no limit to how much I can talk about ice cream.

Haha, you're not wrong with that visual!

Hehe yeah sorry.

I am yet to try the combo but I love anything garlic and my love for vegemite is fairly well documented too so I feel I will love this too.

Oh and yes pancakes, well I think I've also spoken of this too. I used to be so obsessed with pancakes on the rocks and would go a few times a week. Pancakes can be made relatively healthily as well, I can totally justify this as a daily thing... maybe.

I will be going to pancakes on the rocks later tonight. What was your favorite thing to eat there?

I'm glad you asked!

Now ok I don't know the menu by heart and dont necessarily recall the item names. However, in the sweet section there are 2 with grilled banana that are nice (I know... fruit) one has chocolate ice cream which is less good but the one with vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce is sooo good. As is the macadamia madness, blueberry and strawberry. However my partners favourites ate not the same as mine, she likes the choc-orange one, black forest and the most boring one of all of plain pancakes with butter. Maybe you'd prefer those ones?

Savoury wise there are many good ones too, monte cristo, chicken and mushroom, Mexican, Greek... basically all the ones have melted cheese which is probably all of them.

Haha sorry for the long reply, what can I say, I'm passionate about POTR.

Great, now I have to go there myself. I will be near the parramatta one this week, maybe I'll pop in. The rocks one always has such a long line no matter what time I go.

How much were these? I'm guessing about $12.50 for a cup?

LOL The long detailed response, I'm glad people here are so crazy about food as I am.

I have a family dinner tomorrow night but since all of us have 102 allergies my aunt has said Sizzler lol I always go nuts when I eat there.

I don't know. I just googled gourmet chips.

Haha I know, my friend recently texted me a simple question about subway toppings and I think was shocked at the massive detailed reply she got. All I need is an opener and I won't shut up about food! Half of my family are Italian and Galician though so I can't help it!

Ooh sizzler, I'm still unsure if I've ever been. And now I hear it is closing down? At least in NSW I think.

In addition to Pancakes on the Rocks in Parra I'll also be hear Hog's Breath which I never get to go to. Do I dare do both in one day?

Pancakes On The Rocks sounds divine, I wish we had them in SA. We do have The Pancake Kitchen in the city. We lost Sizzler years ago too, but we have Hog's Breath. I'm not a huge meat eater but I love their curly fries.

Thank you for that. Very informative. I did read the menu and like the sound of the devil's delight which is just choc pancakes with choc sauce, choc ice cream and cream and something else but i forget.

In Launceston when i was younger i got to go to Sizzler many times. Then it closed down and got replaced by something called the lone star restaurant. Then my mum read something or heard something about people getting sick at sizzlers and we never went there again. Also i went to hog's breath cafe once but i can't remember what it was like sorry.

Oh yes, well I'm not that into chocolate flavoured things so would only eat that in a total pancake emergency I think. But if you like them then that would be a good choice I think.

I have been to Hog's Breath just once, it's a bit overwhelming but in a good way.
