The Bachelor Australia 2015

I understand this is Sam's job and also extends to gernslly encompass his interests but is it really that important that his lady friend has any skills there whatsoever? Especially if she's not a teacher or PT or someone you might expect to be decent.[DOUBLEPOST=1441187528][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm 20 minutes late but I'm starting to watch the recording.

Trust me you'll catch up in no time with the fast forwarding.

Exactly, why does his potential partner need to be good at what he does?

Sam was adorable with the kids, but I will not hold it to the girls if they don't do well. Snez totally had this in the bag

Well I guess Sam is desperate to knock someone up ASAP so it is important to see who is going to be good beyond being a mere vessel. But this is still pointless and dumb. Also, this is like a drop in the bucket of what motherhood is like so hardly proves anything anyway.
I disagree you can tell a lot from someone who is good with kids.

You can, but it's not the be all end all and not necessarily what constitutes a "good" mother. But this is me assuming that Sam is auditioning everyone and even then he might have different requirements or desires for that role. But definitely you can gauge aspects of someone's character from how they are with kids.

the edit being focussed on Nina is making me wonder if she is the one left in final two with Rachel ....

Yeah, if someone clearly doesn't like children you can gouge a lot from that. However having to "coach" a bunch of them at something you dont know while getting judged by all the girls and Sam would be quite uncomfortable for most. It'd make me pretty awkward initially and I'd like to think I'm a good mother.

I kind of agree to a degree. Someone who has not been around kids will find it a struggle possibly. Not always, but some will. But that doesn't mean they won't have the qualities to be a great mum. It just has not been explored IMO.
Yes you can tell someone trying to someone not hence Rachel v Sarah.

Watching that is making me freak about becoming a teacher and making me want to avoid my prac another two semesters lol
