I went in search of the answer a while back.... Not exacly in an easy to find place thoughOh. I only checked about four people. So I stand corrected!

I thought about starting a thread called THIRTEEN but then I realised I don't really give a flying fuck. Lurking and ignoring is less frustrating. He just seems to feed off conflict and button pushing.
Remember guys, without oxygen a fire burns out![]()

Actually that might be a great idea because his reaction either way is satisfying.I thought about starting a thread called THIRTEEN but then I realised I don't really give a flying fuck. Lurking and ignoring is less frustrating.
Does anyone remember this?

I think there was a valuable lesson there of just don't look. Yes possibly it was a commentary on the evils of advertising and by ignoring it they become ineffective and go away (or not?), but perhaps the lesson can apply to an array of situations. This is one of those few problems in life that can be solved completely by ignoring it, or at least the source. I'm trying to imagine if everyone had me on ignore and I was just posting to an effectively empty forum. Would I really bother posting at all?

If he contributes to the thread, his phobia is bullshit.
If he is truly phobic he won't feature in the thread!
Nope because unlike you, I actually have a genuine dislke of odd numbers.I would still post. I don't need validation from a bunch of strangers to keep posting stuff.
Start one then.

I also don't need validation, I can't speak for anyone else here but I dare say they post for the sake of interaction or discussing a topic or TV show or shared interest. I fail to see how I personally would get any enjoyment from posting without any interaction or response at all, but that's just me. I'd go to tumblr or something if I just wanted to post random shit with no conversation or rapport.

I hope your partner is ready to wife you up![]()
