jessy_girl's junk food jamboree

Definitely. I'd be pretty well behaved I think and just be happy to observe the process of chocolate making.

My dad actually worked in a chocolate factory once upon a time, I don't believe I was ever granted a tour though.

So you wouldn't eat any candy you weren't meant to?

I went on a tour of the cadbury factory in Hobart once.

I like to think I wouldn't, however since I can't manage to show self control at any social situation where food is on offer then I make no guarantee.

How was the Cadbury tour? Did you get chocolate at the end?

I think a tour of a donut factory might be very bad. For them I mean, not for me.

It was a long time ago the tour, but I remember it smelt of chocolate.

Yes, donuts can be quite tasty. I'm the same as you in regard to self control and food lol.

I was once at donut king right on closing time and they asked if I wanted the left over doubts and I of course said yes. I think they regretted this quickly because I became like a bloody stray dog and regularly appeared there at the exact same time to see if there were any more freebies for me.

And yeah, once I start I can't stop, if I want to be moderate with eating at any social thing then the key is to eat nothing, and that's rarely fun.

Oh, I thought you went to like a donut factory.

Yeah, not eating is no fun. Lucky for me my lack of socialization means that I won't have that trouble of eating.

No I didn't, but it would be good. I have observed the little machine at donut king quite closely though.

I have a very love/hate relationship with food, I'm lucky that I have a decent metabolism but there's so much food I dislike and I have so many bad memories of eating and going to someone's house for dinner is so stressful I usually have to decline. But I also love the limited foods that I enjoy... It's hard.

I imagine it is. What kind of foods do you dislike?

Also lucky you with your metabolism.

So many foods. The only food that I consistently like is rec meat and sometimes chicken, but even then I'm a bit fussy about how it's cooked. I am coming around on fish, and some seafood is ok. I also like potato and pasta, but not rice nor most other vegetables. I like most bread as well as cheese, but other dairy products like milk and yoghurt I really dislike. Most curries or anything that's really saucy I don't like, however some sauces like Big Mac sauce I love.

Sorry it wasn't really necessary to mention my metabolism there was it? It just tied in with the love/hate as most people's complaint about food is weight gain but mine is more emotional.

My metabolism is definitely slowing down with age, but I kind of wish I hadn't learnt to cruise through life eating crap without getting fat then I might be a tad healthier.

interesting list. thank you.

it is ok to mention metabolism. I was just curious. My complaint about food is both emotional and weight based.

My neighbour who I barely know just gave me some lollies, he actually came over just to give them to me. They might be poisoned or something but whatever, I'm going to eat them.
