No I am the same. Maybe it's because I have such a strong bond with my grandfather though, I don't know. He is really the most amazing human being on this earth. He has been through so much, but his humble and kind heart and his beautiful soul make me feel for old people so much I think.

I'll share something with you guys. I love the beach with all my heart, not just because the water is the most beautiful thing to touch my skin, or the fresh air that fills me up, or the free wind that makes me feel anything is possible, but because my happiest memories of my grandfather are when he is at the beach. This man has scars running all down the front of his body, big, jagged, protruding, in your face scars, he has a hunchback leaps on one leg because the other has no muscle and is really skinny. Yet he walks everyday and even though his eyesight is poor and his hearing barely there, he never gives up. I have always remembered my grandfather like this. But when I was young and saw him in the beach water, his face lights up with excitement and there is nothing but pure happiness. The way he leapt every time a wave hit him or the way he laughed when he was taking on a wave was for me the most wonderful thing I ever saw. I could see how free he looked, how for that one moment he was not aware that he was limited. So every time I think of the beach I see his face and it makes me smile. This is why I have a soft spot for old people, because of my grandfather

I hear you there. I will also turn my lights off for a second if there's no other traffic. Love the 'silence' of no lights. That last bit makes sense to me if no-one else.

We have Gas which I'm very thankful for. Hot showers and we are still able to cook. But yeah had to throw a whole heap of stuff out. It's ok tho. We are just buying food one day at a time, cooking and eating.

All my whinging, we are actually on a pretty good way. There are heaps of people heaps worse off with trees through their houses and cars and
Flooding etc.

About half way through last night, I woke up sleeping on my side. Now sleeping on your side in a bed that is upright is NOT a good thing. Bit of a sore back so I went to the couch :p
 
Good morning to my OT friends and foes!

Welcome to your 100th ANZAC Day. Lest we forget. Xo

One, two, three back to me! We are in the homeward stretch, couple of bits and pieces to do today, then off to do the last cleaning bits in the old place and BOOM I am done!!

We have some animal issues though. There is a homeless tan and white guinea pig who has taken up residence in the back yard, and sadly we have discovered Billy is absolutely terrified of heights, which means he turns into a quivering whimping mess at the prosepect of going up or down our stairs.

Got no wifi until Thursday thanks to telstra fucking up, so the iphone is now my only source of porn.

Hey @el'coopo sorry I couldn't talk yesterday, we were just too busy. Spent another $1200 on boring stuff like towel racks and shower heads. Oh and I bought some curtains, and I think they look so sweet!

Will post so pics later today.

Yesterday I got a call with a job offer. Finally. I'm sooo excited. I don't want to say where and what online because I just can't believe it. I have visions of a call next week saying sorry we decided to absorb the position. I start may 13th and its 61k a year!! I have already arranged for builder to come quote for work on Monday lol
