Where's @bleachy_dude? I want to talk about the Central Coast, you're favourite topic.
Haha I'm here :) ask away...[DOUBLEPOST=1429233373][/DOUBLEPOST]
Anyone in Sydney? I am just over this rain today... looking up at the sky all you can see is clouds. Well at least the garden is getting a good drink... for free.
Such weird weather. Was it yesterday or maybe the day before it was actually kinda hot. Even had to get the fan out.

Ok I need your opinion on the following suburbs:
  • Booker Bay (or is it brooker bay?)
  • Springfield
  • Ettalong
  • Spencer
  • Wyoming
Umm there's more but I forget. That will do for now.

Also how about Erina vs Erina Heights. I'm always wary of suburbs with height in them, is there a notable difference?

Oh and I think I've been to umina once for camping and it seemed ok, is it?

Don't worry you don't need to go to too much effort here, but if you have a particular opinion about any of them let me know!

Ok I don't really know much about Booker Bay or Ettalong. Don't visit that part of the coast much but from what I've heard the crime rate is higher there.

I grew up in Wyoming (from age 2 to 22) so I know a lot about Wyoming. I still spend quite a bit of time in that area. Wyoming has a 'dark' side and a light side. The police draw straws when being called to the dark side. Coincidentally I grew up right in the middle of the dark side. Lots of housing commission etc. so it depends on which side of Wyoming. If you're looking at a map, the area surrounding Wyoming Public School (my school) is the dark side. The area surrounding Valley View Public school is the light side. Kinda. There are some nice pockets in the dark side though so it's not cut and dry. If you could tell me some street names I could give you a better idea. Wyoming has heaps of stuff. Laycock street theatre, every fast food joint imaginable, Coles shopping centre, bowling, laser, etc. so it's a pretty convenient part of the coast to live.
I live between two houses currently one in North Gosford (right next to Wyoming) and then in Erina.

Erina and Erina Heights are both nice areas and Erina Fair is a massive shopping complex and of course 10ish mins away from Terrigal and Wamberal beaches (not too far from Avoca either). Generally Erina is a little more developed, Erina heights is a little more 'bushy'.

Spencer is up in the 'mountains' lots of large properties, if you like more of a 'country life' then Spencer is ok. A little bit more isolated. Erina and Wyoming are bustling whilst spencer is more like country living.
Ettalong and Booker Bay have more of a relaxed kinda holiday feel.[DOUBLEPOST=1429234451][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh I forgot Springfield.

Springfield is a bit similar to Wyoming. Lots of housing commission so some pretty 'ghetto-ish' areas but there are also some nicer areas.

Thanks - that's very helpful!! I don't have street names handy but I'll run them past you sometime. I really like Terrigal but could never afford to live there, yet Erina you say is close and it seems affordable. Anyway, lots to work out. Thanks!

Hello you!

How is the bleachy life?
Bleachy life is pretty good. I helped out at a youth camp last weekend and remembered how much I enjoyed youth work. Festival the weekend before in Toowoomba. Mud and rain = lots of fun at a festival. :)

Yeah my mum lives at Erina. It's 10min or less drive to Terrigal. Erina is also a hub of many things, even more so than Wyoming.

In saying that, Springfield is only 5mins from Erina. So 10/20 to Terrigal.

Sounds fantastic, except for the Toowoomba part!

I have seriously missed this place too!

All I need is a man gif from @el'coopo to complete the perfect forum morning!

Nah Toowoomba was actually fun. Gumboots made the mud great. Took me back to my childhood.

Is your house slowly becoming your home?

No where near it yet.

Still in the rental. Partner is over there painting as I type.

We have hired two painters to come in and paint over the weekend. One painter is super hot and the other is super not, so it balances out.

Moving Thursday.

You are not going to believe this, I bought a couch for $4500! My first 3 cars combined didn't cost me $4500! It is so beautiful! Mutley has been helping me with interior design. Going for a feature wall in the bathroom which is exciting. My house will be a home this time next week!
