Well once all the hard work is done you can sit back and admire all the work that you put in. Sounds kind of satisfying.

We hired an Irish painter, oh my God! Talk about potato POTATO POTATO!!!!!

Seriously the hottest guy I have seen in years!

Painting seriously sucks, it is such a simple way to make a difference to a room but just such a pain. I think outsourcing bigger things is usually better long term, well where you can.

Haha one day you and I will have the same opinion! Maybe painting could be kind of cathartic once you're in the rhythm, but don't listen to @Sweetgeek when she says it's enjoyable, it's not.

This thread was set up for off topic chit chat (code for near naked gifs) the conversation which has been dominating this thread for months now is not actually off topic, it deserves its own topic, because its all that is freaking talked about, the exact same conversation over and over, its so tiresome coming in here, and we have lost some really interesting posters, and I will assume its because like me, got tired of this. If you don't like someone and they continually annoy you, block them, ignore them, let others have some fun, we all have very stressful lives, this place was a good way to blow off steam, have a laugh, get deep when appropriate, offer support and encourage, but with a very balanced dose of ribbing and laughs.

Yes every forum evolves, the posters change, tones change, but when its completely constant, its draining, its uninteresting, its hard work, why subject down time with that?

Yeah it's pretty shitty outside. What a difference 24 hrs makes. Gorgeous weather this time yesterday.
I hope it doesn't rain for the footy tonight.
