Well turns out bad things do sometimes happen to bad people...
Got the keys to the house Wednesday, went around in mad prep to be ready to paint for Thursday, found out skirting and doors have oil based paint. Spent all night Wednesday night and the whole day Thursday sanding back which is like the job from hell!! Finally got a coat of paint on three bedroom ceilings at 6pm last night.

Sanding is probably the one laborious task I actually enjoy, I mean painting is actually the worst but I find the sanding prep strangely satisfying. I'd have done it for you!
I hate painting and prepping more than anything.
We are such DIY'ers. We watch 2 youtubes and think we are tradesmen painter. Turns out we're not. We have since hired a 2 year apprentice and a tradesman.
