We did a bit of writing today. As opposed to just introducing ourselves, we paired up and interviewed each other and then wrote a short biography about the other person, which was then read out to the class. I feel like the girl I was partnered up with missed out on a lot of key info that I would've shared so now the class probably has a subpar view of me. I was nice and talked her up a lot.
The course provides "industry knowledge" and whatnot. The class I had today was Nonfiction Elements which covers a broad spectrum of stuff—from writing speeches to writing instruction manuals, and anything else to do with nonfiction. I'll let you know how hard editing is once I've done a bit of it.
