Okay, what about "OT"? I am certain that I have seen this one too. Oh, and thanks. I've been wondering about OP for awhile now too.OP stands for 'original post' or 'original poster'
Perhaps it's about Daffyd...Is this another Davis thread? Go Davis.
He was laughing because they all knew she was doing it for camera time. (which she got)
She knew the word but pretended that she didn't.
So what if she did?Yes. She started the whole thing, by insinuating that Dave is BB's favourite. She tried to bring him down and failed. Then turned on Lawson. How people fail to see this is beyond me.
I think people interpret things differently, you see things from Skye's perspective there, I saw her baiting him and trying to get a reaction. It's all opinion. Just for the record, I don't expect that any of them will say or do what I think they should do 100% of the time, and I form my opinions on what I see overall, just like everyone is entitled to do.
Ok so you don't like David having a laugh a Skyes expense (but she was playing along with it until Lawson butted in) - fair enough...........BUT
Why not the same outrage for Skye telling David numerous times that she doesn't want him in the BB House, why is he still in the BB House, that she doesn't like him.
Skye is no innocent being picked on by big, bad, meanie David.
overtime, occupational therapy. Yes, I work in a hospital. The Alfred, in Melbourne.Okay, what about "OT"? I am certain that I have seen this one too. Oh, and thanks. I've been wondering about OP for awhile now too.

I don't know about that. Seem to remember her yelling at Lawson a couple of times and by her facial expressions, you could just tell she was doing it purely to get under his skin. You always assume the worst of Skye in every situation. Maybe she did maybe she didn't, it's impossible to tell either way. In any event I don't think her 'crime' is deserving of the amount of ridicule and scorn she's copping for it.
So what if she did?
If I were a BB hm I wouldn't take offence to something as petty as a fellow hm accusing me of being Big Brother's 'favourite', especially when it was clearly said in jest/tongue-in-cheek. There was no malice in Skye's tone or body language to suggest she was saying that with some sort of agenda to undermine Dave. And if she was being deliberately 'nefarious', honestly how harmful could something so innocuous and irrelevant be?
That's the most balanced out of all the responses I've received. Again even if you could prove she was 'baiting' him, (into what exactly, I have no idea) I'm not seeing the ill intent in it. All Dave had to do was blurt out 'favours' and the so-called baiting would've been nipped in the bud instantly. Instead he prolonged the exchange stringing her along by pretending not to know. *shrugs*
It's funny how Dave fans give him the benefit of the doubt in exchanges but don't show the same courtesy to Skye.
Personally I don't think Skye is purposely being a 'bitch' or trying to hurt Dave when she says she's surprised he's still in the house.
It's probably her way of teasing/getting back at him when Dave is having a go at her (we all know Dave is prone to saying inappropriate awkward comments and passes it off as his sense of 'humour') and not something she yells out randomly whenever she's bored or whatever purely to get under his skin.
At the end of the day Dave is a good decade older than Skye and someone with many more years of life experience than her should have the maturity to fend off such timid banter from a young female who's barely out of her teens. *shrugs*
I keep seeing OP and I keep reading it as outpatients because of my job which confuses me when reading things on here. What does it stand for on here?
OP stands for 'original post' or 'original poster'
skye is op, plz nerfIn the computer gaming world, OP stands for "Over-Powered".
I always need to take an extra second to process things when I see "OP" on here.
He delivers these things too so deadpan which I love.I liked Dave's comment at the end of this Thursday's episode.
Travis, Priya and Dave in the kitchen, Dave make a joke about how Travis is playing the game...
Then Priya says "how are you playing the game David" , to which David replies "Like a headless chook"...
To me, that isn't an overinflated ego, overinflated would never make a joke about their own ability in such a way. He's mocked by the others in the house but stands steadfast and powers on ahead, I like that about him.
Now he treats others (who merely happen to be women) with the same contempt that caused many here to get behind and support him - when he was the victim of it at the hands of Lisa etc, and also largely fueled by dismissive and contemptuous comments by Ryan and his cronies. This I do not admire.
I think production doesn't like him. They set him up as a bad guy to Skye. They are bringing in a fake fan to humiliate him. I feel they don't like him at all, don't want him close to the end.
It's hardly timid banter.I don't know about that. Seem to remember her yelling at Lawson a couple of times and by her facial expressions, you could just tell she was doing it purely to get under his skin.
Dave can handle it. He knows Skye doesn't like him and I think Dave is just probably over her. She would be hard to handle if she didn't like you, I reckon. Even Leo gets a hard time from her and she Does(?) like him. And timid banter??? come on
He's been blamed for being a dick to women, however in all instances he's simply been made the scapegoat. Even time multiple men were present all doing exactly the same thing.
He wasn't surrounded by men, but alone, in two memorable instances - with Lisa in the loungeroom. During his 'apology'. I gave him the benefit of the doubt then. He repeated the same behaviour with Priya, alone in the kitchen, when he was 'hearing her out'.
I don't remember anything dickish in either of those two situations. With Lisa he allowed her to "tear shreds off him" and then apologised in the best way he knew how, given that she is over the top with "womanly" assertiveness. With Priya he also apologised but did raise some points because she's knows at the very least she is an intelligent woman and has more of an open mind. People are clutching to paint David with a woman hater brush, but I'm not convinced at all. He's a normal guy, with normal attributes - occasional foot in mouth disease, strong opinions coupled with what seems to be very bad timing.
Playing the game, however he is playing it - with a self-deprecating 'like a headless chook' and yet previous self-references to himself during nominations as 'Strategy Dave', ergo he is at least however cackhandedly attempting to play the game strategically during nominations - does not cancel out the way he has repeatedly behaved like a dick towards women. (I can't say he has only behaved like a dick towards women, as I am not so fascinated by Dave as to memorise every move. )
If you don't like Skye, then that's fine, apparently, or she deserved it, or she instigated it. If you don't like Priya, you can come up with a crime to support his doing this. If you don't like Lina, etc.
I was rooting for him to stay in at the start, when he was being poorly treated himself. Since that time his self-image has been restored and his chest has puffed out a little more with every week and now this acceptance (or being played) by Ryan, who appears to be socially at least the alpha male in there, has really swollen his ego.
Now he treats others (who merely happen to be women) with the same contempt that caused many here to get behind and support him - when he was the victim of it at the hands of Lisa etc, and also largely fueled by dismissive and contemptuous comments by Ryan and his cronies. This I do not admire.
