David Appreciation Thread

Not getting along with someone is not bullying. People these days throw the word around way too much. Kids these days can't even be involved in debates or arguments or disagreements because it's seen as "bullying". We wrap them in cotton wool, tell them they are fantastic, give them everything they want, and shelter them from real life in fear of them being mentally "scarred". And the result of this new world order - Skye.

Get into psychology people, it's going to be the biggest career opportunity going forward with this generation of narcissistic, sheltered children all getting real world shocks when they don't get into uni, or get a job on cue, or find that perfect boyfriend/girlfriend, or get fired......or get booted from Big Brother.

Cha-ching!:greedy:

I don't think anyone has a chance against Ryan unfortunately ...
why do you think this?
ive seen this opinion posted frequently in the past week or so, and i am am curious.... why?
ryan has survived how many evictions? 2? skye and david have nearly 3 times as many under each of their belts. how about travis? wouldnt travis be a bigger threat than ryan?

2 evictions, guys!

I disagree. He'd be a great friend, he's funny, he's intelligent, a little bit cheeky, I'd always know where I stand, everything I like in a friend really

Totally disagree. If David was your friend you'd know he was loyal and honest with you.

No... He'd crack jokes at the expense of others. He'd use his gender as an excuse to brush off women issues. He's very self-centred. And he talks a lot from his perspective alone.

I wouldn't befriend any of the housemates.

How sad are they.

I bet they have done the same thing to others & wanted them 'act' how they want them to be seen.

Here is the thread it's in http://www.behindbigbrother.com/foerums/threads/do-you-want-to-enter-the-big-brother-house.52974/

I'd go in, but instead of being 'Chloe' I'd be myself, and I'd tell David the truth about everyone and everything, then I'd cuddle Ned and Kelly, put a chocolate on Dave's pillow, and itching powder in Slye's undies, then sprint past security, on my way out.

If you think about it, people like David, Priya, Ryan and Skye are very particular. They have a certain taste in people, and a direction that they think in and will confidently veer towards that trajectory alone. That's absolutely fine. But it's very closed and doesn't help to make friends.

They're not in there to make friends. They are in there to win a game.

But do you think it's ok for this Chloe thing to go ahead? That's a "joke at the expense of another"

WHEN DID I CONDONE HIM BEING PRANKED WITH CHLOE?! I think the whole thing is waste of time.

WHAT THE FUCK are you smoking?!

Well the housemates need some social game so as to not get perennially put up for eviction (the more mates you have the less likely you'd be up for eviction every week) as well as having a platform ( via their clique) to paint themselves in a positive light to the voters.

It's close to being impossible for a lone wolf to win this game, the closest was Estelle and in the end the producers plotted against her out of fear the accurate accusations of bullying would come back to bite them in the arse like it should have.

So in summary yes you do actually need to make friends if you stand any chance of winning otherwise it becomes an insurmountable goal.

Yeah, this doesn't, in any way, take away from what I said.

What do you guys think about the david/Ryan relationship?
I was a bit concerned that he made a bit of a fuss about saving Ryan
I know he said he would love to be in the finale with Ryan but if only he knew the popularity of Ryan .

Ryan is a threat to everyone in the game right now and needs to go IMO
I'd say, just going on what I have seen of David, that once he deems you as a friend then he is loyal to a fault.
David stayed loyal to Sandra right till the end even though she wasn't. It would be disappointing though if Ryan was only being friends with David for the wrong reasons - that he sees David as popular on the outside - but here's hoping it's not. Ryan is the dark horse to win BB for sure.
