David Appreciation Thread

I like Dave, I really do but this vendetta he has going against Skye will be his downfall if he's not careful.
He's losing sight of the bigger picture by bad mouthing a young girl a decade his junior rather than focusing all of his energy on eliminating the wannabe manipulator snake in the grass that is Priya.

Lol it's funny because David doesn't even spend half the time worrying about or trying to knock Skye as she does him :hilarious:

Skye is the one coming at him though so who can blame him for having enough of it. To be honest when I heard that Skye was questioning Dave to his face as to why he was even there that was it. It's always been up and down for me with her, now all I can see is her massive sense of self entitlement and trying to put him down constantly. Not my kind of girl sorry.

Although I think trying to save Ryan is a huge error of judgement given their past history I'm glad David managed to push Skye into the red zone. With a quadruple eviction it will be Tom, Richard, Penny and Leo on the chopping block.

This is probably one of the few weeks you may have a chance of evicting either Ryan or Skye because given the nominees the public voting numbers won't be high and people may be lax. It could be a chance to slay a contender if enough people get behind the cause.

Oh, and sweaty Dave for the win! His diary room antics made me laugh, he was so frustrated. And sweaty. And intense. He even took a good look at the tally board before he left.

I understand that Ryan is competition, but at the end of the day, who would we want David to lose to (worst case scenario ), someone like Skye???
That would be so much worse than losing to Ryan.

I'm actually hoping enough people like Ryan and enough like Penny that it actually SLAMS Skye right into the 4 evicted.

GET HER OUT.

Ok, if I squint I can almost see your point. Dave needs to maybe calm his farm a little, but ONLY because Slye has such a big fan base and I don't want that working against him. But he has every right to feel the way he feels, Slye's BITCH is showing more than her ARSE is. And pfft, I don't care if she's younger, she's an adult. She should act like one ;)

See, had this been a month ago, I might have agreed with you. A month ago, we weren't really getting the other side to Skye. Now, when he says it, we've got the footage to back him up. Skye's not been shown in the best light, this week and so I think it helps prove David's point. There is nothing anyone can do about the 10 year olds that like her, but a lot of former Skye fans have seen the light. So, I can see them agreeing with David. She is spoiled. He was preaching to the choir. I also don't think people are caught up on the age difference between them. There is only 2 weeks left. He's safe next week, so he should at least make it to finals week, and the more Skye talks about her chances to win, I think the more it might backfire.

I don't want to see David in the final against either Ryan or Skye, so that's where I'm coming from. I haven't forgotten how Ryan was in his little group early on. I really believe Ryan is only bothering with David because he's run out of options.

But, who would DAVID want to lose to?

I think it's like with Tim last year and how he said he would have been ok if he lost to Ben, but anyone else would have just annoyed him.

To the bold part, we see this every year, don't we? The game starts one way, people leave and things change. Ryan said when Sam and Sandy left, he'd be able to get to know other people. I just think this kind of thing is the nature of the game. People leave and new alliances form. I don't think it's an error in judgement. He found someone he can talk to, and it's better than him having no one. You knew he had some perspective when he told BB he wasn't saying he wanted him to win, only that he didn't want him up. If we've learned anything about Dave, he seems to be loyal to those he calls friends, so this fell in line with that.

I don't care one iota about who David can best lose to. I do not want David to lose. Full. Stop. He's not in it to come second. I actually struggle to understand how people can have two "favourites". I'm all in, it's one way trip on the David train.
