Priya Appreciation Society

Still worried for Priya in the double eviction. But tonight really did help her. Just like Ryan v Skye helped Ryan. Anyone getting such extended air-time in such a week with so many up will benefit. David will get more votes too. With no Clawson drama there's also no real sympathy out there for them which hopefully makes one of them along with Leo to go home. Depends what happens tomorrow night.

Just to say it! I'm not against David because I don't think he was intending to be malicious, but Priya was not laughing about it so therefore she had every right to react and however she wanted to, she was the one being poked fun at. So I'm not against David, but the situation was not a good one. So I don't see why Priya is being given the 'she over reacted' bs. I needed to say that I think. You can be a stan and still be objective right lol.

BTW, this kind of reminds me of that thread you started and I was being a bitch (though I didn't realize it at the time) where I was having goes at Mikk to banter back with you- I was David in that :redface:. Not cool at all. and that's my point. you may not realize you have gone too far, but you should still consider the other person if they were upset, and get over your own reasonings.

I'm pretty certain Priya is safe after tonight. I honestly feel like "any publicity is good publicity" at this point in time, and I mean, that was some pretty good publicity if I do say so myself. Priya was ULTIMATE PRIYA tonight for me; she was everything that I love about her, plus a little bit more on top.
 
Penny is too similar to Skye, exactly, and Skye's fans will stick with Skye exclusively. Penny ain't gonna last long in this game.
Tom is too similar to Travis.
Lina is the only one of the 4 newbies with some potential to be around until they get to the final 5 or 6.
Richard perhaps too if say Lawson and Leo were to go next week(which is possible)

Oh me too! I have wanted a strong woman to win for so long now and it never effing happens! Sadly this year wont be much different by the look of things :(

You know, I cannot STAND David, but he was somewhat right about his criticisms of Australian culture... even if he wasn't necessarily aware that he was making criticisms!

I know you are not a fan, but you are a Priya fan :thumbsup: and regardless, I have appreciated your comments. I did stay out of it n the daily thread though. That was way too intense for me lol.

Oh, don't worry, it was intense for me too. I really shouldn't have gotten so immersed in all of it, but eh, maybe I've learnt my lesson this time. ;)

hahaha I think sometimes people focus on one part of what you say and then completely devalue the rest of your post on here at times, and it could have been at a throw away comment, so no matter what you say, the focus has already been pinpointed elsewhere and I think that's what happened with you in there. Don't worry about lessons needed to be learnt, it's a board with many opinions and many more to come.

Thank you! I can't understand people still trying to keep Clawson in the house. They have no chance of winning ever, why waste your money? Such thick headed people.
 
Priya and David fans are not at war. We should be united against the common enemy, which is Skye and Ryan and Travis. These are the players that are going to take our favourites out.

As David and Priya supporters we should appreciate they are even getting shown. It sure beats an invisible edit (ie. like Aisha and Lawson tonight). Whether people agree or disagree it provokes conversation and it's more likely to make your everyday person sitting on the couch pick up their phone and vote. Anyway, peace out. :angelic:

Yeah, I really wish people would read more on here, but I'm going to stop trying to give people an education, I think! :tongue: It didn't help that it was in the daily show thread, which is kinda intense all by itself sometimes, what with how fast it moves and stuff. You're right though, many more opinions are on their way, and the positives of such an open environment definitely outweigh the negatives. :thumbsup:
