I don't give a shit what education you assume I have or don't have. It doesn't take a genius to work out that you have a superiority complex and your view on racism is completely inappropriate!I'm not placing a higher power on "whites." Plz look around at our society and then get back to me. Oh, maybe you should read a few history books too, while you're at it. Chuck in a few sociology books too, for good measure. God, I'm so sick of this uneducated, ignorant shit you keep throwing at me. Don't come for me until you've educated yourself. I wouldn't be talking about this topic if I wasn't clued up on the facts, trust me.

Travis looks like he's been smacked in the face with a COCK.
Look at that ANGER.
Something tells me, getting smacked in the face with a cock wouldn't make Travis angry.

I think generalising aussie men is ridiculous, however David only offered to talk to the other guys as a fake peace offering - he wasn't having a bar of Priya.
Doesn't matter whether he agreed with her or not...doesn't change the fact that he went and got them anyway (despite the fact that Priya singled him out to cop it).
David and Travis obviously thought they were close enough to Priya to be able to joke with her. David says a lot of crap that gets him into trouble but he acknowledged that Priya was upset...at least enough to volunteer to go and speak to the other guys for her.
I also don't understand why David making a careless comment about cultural misunderstandings somehow indicates something fundamentally wrong with Aussie men![]()
As soon as that happened I was internally yelling at David. I know he didn't mean to make the situation the way it became, personally I think Tom was the one that went that bit too far (though I don't think he was trying to malicious either, but just was excited he was part of it). But I was still yelling lol, Argh, that man just doesn't stop and think. but those flaws are also his biggest strengths too. because what you get is what he really is thinking.
Yeah I don't get how a generalization should be made from a small comment either. Careless comments are made all the time, just look at this thread as proof

You're simplifying cultural differences. The real problem was Priya's over sensitivity. Huge over-reaction - and that's what represents misinterpretation. There was nothing uniquely Australian about that joke. It was the sort of joke a group of Indians standing around could easily make with each other. The only cultural reference that could potentially have been misunderstood was the reference to American basketball, which Priya clearly understood.
The problem wasn't with the joke, the problem was their lack of sensitivity. It was obvious that David touched a raw nerve.
I don't know about you but if I make a joke and I sense offence has been taken I stop making the joke. I don't have an expectation that other people should find me funny.
