While I agree that she has the potential to become a really interesting housemate, will there really be enough time to see her unfurl what with the current editing style and the wrap up in a few weeks' time?

Big Brother claims Lina is 25. Lina claims she and her parents left China just after the Tiananmen Square massacre because China was not a safe place to be after that. The Tiananmen Square massacre happened on June 4 of 1989 which is just over 25 years ago.
How did Lina manage to "play in rubbish dumps" next to her apartment in China, go to kindergarden (you have to be at least 4 yrs old) in China, and learn a little bit of English before leaving China 25 years ago when she is only 25 now?
Conclusion?
1. Lina is lying about her age or her time in China, or
2. BB is lying about Lina's age or her time in China.

3. "just after" could be anywhere from 1 day to a few years.
4. You don't have to be 4yo to go to kindergarden in China. Most kindergardens in China these days are for ages 3-6 but some also accept 2 year olds. If that's the case now, then it would have been the same for 2yo kids 25 years ago if not even younger.
5. "A little bit of English" could mean a couple of dozen words. Children at such a young age acquire language skills very easily - mother tongue and second languages are both acquired at a rate equivalent to their exposure to them. One of her parents was obviously a native English speaker.
