Episode Day 50 (27/10/2014) Daily Show ft. "Powerhouse Players/Intruders"

I'm sorry. I really used to like Priya but she is just so boring, dull & mundane. She even speaks slowly because she thinks about every word before it comes out of her mouth. She is yet to show us any signs of a real person! I feel sorry for @MADONNA who is worshiping a false prophet in Prisus.
There's a strong possibility that Prisus is the one to be evicted next.

UUrgh. That episode was so boring. I think it was designed to try and make us fall asleep. Wrong people BB. You need to get the housemate to fall asleep. Not the audience.

The montage of housemates being 'coaxed' to fall asleep in the diary room is reminiscent of big brother confidential from last year.

I'm still excited about the new housemates. Is it still an eviction tomorrow? Is it a double this week?

I am looking forward to Cat (or Lawson though he isn't nominated) having to face the music when they are out of the house. They have dug themselves into a situation they can't get out of.

No it's based on your statement that supermarkets don't cater to it. My bad if my assumption is wrong that you're talking about Australian supermarkets. But, you came on here stating that the whole gluten/lactose free thing was rubbish.
Back to you.

The supermarkets where I live don't cater well to it, Coles and Woolworths have a small aisle each but it's hardly catered to sufficiently. Macro is good. I find myself going to independent health food stores because I can be 100% sure it's gluten free and there is more variety.

And I never said gluten free/lactose free was rubbish. I mentioned that the increase in people without intolerance following gluten free/lactose free diets has led to less regulation of product. I say that because I have purchased items and eaten at restaurants where a product is said to be gf and I have gotten sick from it.

I never said it was bad for people to follow that kind of diet for health reasons, never said it was bullshit. I just said that from the perspective of someone who is coeliac and cannot touch dairy, the recent demand for gluten free/lactose free has actually limited my options of what I can safely eat (as I mentioned before, some things are marked as gf/lf but are not 100% true to the label).

And, that was a big word to get wrong.
Once again you bring it back to the spelling.
If you want to keep being fickle and drawing your entire argument back to a word that was autocorrect on my iPad that's fine. I've tried to explain rationally why I said what I said, if accidentally using the US spelling of a word means I don't suffer from Coeliac disease then fine.

If you have a problem with what I have said above in the first post then I would like to hear, it's interesting getting the polar opposite perspective of someone else who's Coeliac.

If the 4 new housemates are moving in won't that mean it's a quadruple eviction tomorrow night?
But then how will the normal eviction go?
It doesn't work....
Unless the original eviction goes ahead and 2 of the 4 are sent home....
Big Brother has kept too much up his sleeve this year. It's the HMs he needs to keep guessing. We watch anyway.
Ok whinge over. Sorry.

My impressions of the episode:

The new housemates all seem good, but at this stage I can't be bothered.
Travis came across really badly, but Marina had her first interesting, positive storyline of the series.
The Clawson drama of last week has vanished - they're just one of the three couples in the house, with the most excitement being their hilarious attempted pash under the doona. Cat in particular didn't feature much.
The current task seems set up perfectly as a good physical and mental challenge, as well as that room of seduction.

Also - a few of the girls (Skye and Priya, I think) were suddenly wearing head scarves. Is this a remnant of the Friday night party dress-up that we didn't get to see at all?
There was a lot of stuff we missed not just the party. A very confusing series this year.

83 feckin pages, have pity on us Queenslanders. The episode was way OVER HYPED, as is usual these days. How did Teflon get Head of House? It seems that BB is pushing Ryan and Dave and showing more of them. I think Dave is Big Brothers favourite, because all those close to him got evicted, but he survived. He has to a big chance of making the final 3. They seem to have finally accepted his sense of humour is different to theirs.

lol out of 7 nominees? with 2 intruders and one extremely hated housemate? (Cat) - I don't think so.

Seriously, you have issues. There is so much more out there for Coeliac's and those with Lactose issues compared to even 2 years ago and you whinge?

Okay... Aisha needs to remove that mustache asap its getting worse!.. I cant unsee it anymore!!

If she is too much of a bush-piglet to not take care of her visible facial hair, i hate to think of the other parts of her body that she is letting go to nature

By day 75, im tipping she will have a pubes-bush that you could hide a fkn VCR in.

Aisha Aisha
Quite Contrary
Trim that lip
ITS SO DAMN HAIRY

Wasn't it one of the intruders that had asked Travis about his flirting ? I think they gave away some outside info and that's how it got to that. That's what I took from that anyway, but I could be wrong.

Not sure, but I find it strange how people like to comment on behavior as if it is completely in isolation of the context of the game and interactions with other housemates.

I dont think the originals feel threatened by the intruders. Their faces will change, if they tell them that the neighbours are full housemates now and everybody was up for eviction next week. Then after they name the nominees, tell them its a TRIPLE eviction. If they told them before they voted, it could change the way they think or vote.
