Lawson on being in a relationship, "whoa whoa, pump the breaks"

I am starved of Clawson updates.
I wonder what if anything happened last night, did Big Brother throw them another party?

its funny how when cat takes advantage of lawson while hes drunk, lawson is to blame. he should take responsibility, not blame the alcohol, etc.
if the roles were reversed though, you lot would be accusing lawson of rape, claiming he had taken advantage of a woman in no position to consent, and so on.
how curious!

I thought Cat was just as drunk as Lawson that night.[DOUBLEPOST=1414219890][/DOUBLEPOST]

He probably did. I just hope that Cat got Head of House again so she could take Lawson into the Sanctuary.

I hope so! I wonder if Lawson was slurring his words again.

If I was Lawson, I wouldn't be drinking as I would want to be in control of myself. Not dry humping Cat in front of the nation.

As if Lawson could resist drinking. To do that you would have to have self control, something that Lawson clearly lacks.

This again refers to the movie Fatal Attraction. I'd hate to spoil it if you want to see it. :)
Psycho spurned mistress boils lover's daughters pet rabbit
What was the movie where the obsessed woman broke the writer's leg so she could keep taking care of him? I can see that happening as well.

No offense but that is such a cop out. It almost implies that is okay for a man to cheat because they can't help it, but some reason women are supposed to have more self-control. It is actually quite sexist.

It ranks right up there with women must be covered from head to toe because they might cause a man to lust and car upon that lust. Women have borne the brunt of the blame since the Garden of Eden even though Adam, like Lawson, could have just said NO!

She deserved it. That was a good movie IMO

Absolutely! Great movie, and Kathy was awesome. The scene where she puts the block of wood between his knees then smashes the sides of them with a sledge-hammer still haunts me to this day though. That one scene really disturbed me for some reason. :nailbiting:

Reminds me of Tully's completely off comments about her and drew as an "ill-timed choice"

Fuck she pisses me off- She's such a fame whore

If I were a housemate....

Big Brother: Greg. (yes, that is my real first name)
Greg: What's up, Big Brother?
BB: Nominations. You have five points. Who would you like to nominate first, for how many points, and why?
Greg: I'd like to nominate that cheating scumbag Lawson for four points. I'm doing this for two reasons. One, I do not approve of infidelity. I think what Lawson is doing with Cat is despicable.
BB: So, you are saying you would never do that?
Greg: Darn straight, Big Brother. I didn't come into the house with a girlfriend on the outside.
BB: And your second reason?
Greg: Strategy. I think what Lawson is doing is generating a lot of buzz in the outside world. Australia will want to keep him around just to see how this showmance plays out, and that threatens my game.
BB: Your nomination is, accepted. You have one point remaining.
Greg: That one point is going to Cat, again for the same reasons. The greater guilt goes to Lawson because he chose to cheat on his girlfriend. Cat is the "Mrs. Robinson" in this affair. There are ramifications for what those two have done, and she has to pay as well.
BB: But how has that affected you personally, in the Big Brother House?
Greg: I get sick of hearing the talk. That's all we talk about in the house. Cat and Lawson, Cat and Lawson. If Lawson really feels guilty, then he should stop associating with Cat. She's a cougar, on the prowl!
BB: And so you want to, hunt the cat?
Greg: Precisely.
BB: Accepted. Your nominations are complete. You may exit the Diary Room.
Greg: Thank you.

This needs to be said: Fatal Attraction and Misery are both really good films, but they're also both works of fiction. People don't actually do stuff like that in real life.

Cat might be somewhat self-centred, but she isn't about to murder or maim anyone (or any bun-ny). :p

There is a bit of an opinion going around that Cat is a stage five clinger. Do you believe that? How do you view the Clawson relationship?

Actually, it does happen in real life. Most victims of murder are by the hand of someone they knew, usually spurned on by jealousy or extreme anger.... not saying Cat would do something like that! Lol...

Umm you need to try watching the Crime channel on Foxtel. Stuff like that, and worse, does actually happen in real life. It's horrible the things people do, and often to those they say they love the most. There's a few docu-shows in particular; Murder In-Law, Unusual Suspects, Happily Never After, Fatal Vows, Stalked:Someone's Watching, Obsession: Dark Desires... and the creepiest is one I can't remember the name of but it's always a 'happy couple' then someone cheats, and then one of the 3 always ends up dead. These shows are ALL real stories that have happened to real people.

And yeah, not saying Cat would do any of that stuff, but your arguement that things like that don't happen in real life is WAAAAAAY off base.

Cat seems like a combination of a very assertive person mixed with someone who is actually quite sad and lonely on the inside. She's genuinely attracted to Lawson, but she's pushing it along at a faster rate than it should be going at (and that's aside from the fact that he also has/had an outside relationship). As for Lawson, he seems totally taken by the thrill of having an attractive woman flirting with him so a lot of his reaction is this high of "Woohoo! Sexy lady wants me!" - probably stuff that had died down in his long-term relationship. When he has time to reflect on things, along comes the guilt. But then BFF Cat comforts him and makes the bad feelings go, which leads to Sexy Cat. And the cycle repeats.

I think there are genuine emotions in there from both of them, but it's never going to be a happy relationship.

BTW, Clawson is my fave thing about BB this year!

Ohhhhh, I remember it now. It's called Deadly Affairs. Anyone contemplating cheating on their signifigant other really should watch a few episodes of this show. It'll knock those ideas clear out of your head. It's a bit freaky what normal, sane, rational everyday people are capable of doing when a 3rd person enters the marriage equation. And the murderer isn't always the one you expect it to be.
