Lawson on being in a relationship, "whoa whoa, pump the breaks"

Lawson always lies in the Diary room. Actions speak louder than words. Cat and Lawson are now sleeping next to each other. That is not the actions of a person who is that not into Cat. If he wasn't that into her then he would not be sleeping next to her.

It's actually not sexist at all, and as i said at the end they are both as bad as each other.

Lawson is getting seduced and he doesnt have the tools to say no, he doesn't know how.

An attractive man can also seduce a woman, and after a few hot drinks it could lead to cheating, now if that woman had told that man that she was in a relationship and he continues to try and seduce her, then he's an asshole. But at the end of the day they are both to blame.

This has nothing to do with sexism and everything to do with persueing and seducing someone, and that someone not having the guts to say no.

He's getting seduced and is too much of a 'nice guy' to say no.
Cat perused him like a true pro. It's hard for any man to turn down someone trying to seduce you like that. But in my opinion Lawson always wanted to say no, he just didn't know how.

Of course they are both as bad as each other. But Cat should have backed way off as soon as she knew he had a partner.

Bingo! Lawson and Candice r/ship and his reasons for hooking up with Cat are totally separate issues. His decision to cheat could have deeper underlying reasons that have zero to do with Cat, she just happened to be there and available for Lawson to indulge it.
 
Aisha was right: Lawson knows he has destroyed the relationship with Candice, and he is now grieving for what he has lost, but at the same time, Cat keeps pulling him back in, and he can't avoid her inside that bubble we call the Big Brother house.
Lawson is the sort of guy who will expected to be booed and hated back in the real world, because he thinks he deserves to serve penance for what he has done to Candice. I fear for his mental state - his family will be naturally disappointed with him, but he will need their love and support in future.

I am saying Cat likes him more than he likes her. He is sober in the diary room and I think that is when and where he is thinking clearly. You are not thinking clearly when you are so drunk you slur your words.
 
Every time Lawson has "self-destructed" his life, alcohol must have been a contributing factor.

He is thinking clearly enough to lie in the Diary room and to make sure he still stays in the Big Brother game. When Lawson gets very drunk he drops his guard and reveals his true feelings.

I feel that Cat and Lawson like each other equally.

I feel that Lawson lusts her, she may well think she 'loves' him though.

I don't really know the level of their feelings for each other, and it may be heightened by living in such a close environment, but I do feel that Lawson feels more than lust for Cat.

We will have to agree to disagree. When Lawson get's drunk it's his lust talking. His remorse the day after illustrates this.

I get the impression he doesn't even want her to be around him, Cat ran straight to the room when Ryan announced he wasn't having dinner due to the fact he wanted some alone time, i bet that even though Lawson put on that fake smile and put his arm around Cat, he deep down really wanted to be left the hell alone. He has actually said that "maybe i should just leave" to Cat, hes in a situation where its gone too far most likely due to alcohol. Do they ever make out passionately when not drinking? Pretty sure they just hug and Lawson puts on a brave face but secretly is crying about the whole situation on the inside.

I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants to get the hell out of there.

He wasn't remorseful the morning after he kissed Cat in bed. He was only feeling guilty for cheating, not for the fact that he has strong feelings for Cat. I also think that Lawson feels more than lust for Cat.

The general vibe that I get from most commentators is that Cat is mostly to blame. I don't buy that. Cat owes nothing to Candice. For all Cat knows the relationship was on its last legs anyway.

If anyone deserves most of the flak and the blame it is Lawson. He is the one who is supposed to think of Candice, the one who supposedly cares about Candice. And if Lawson is not even that into Cat, if he has an ounce of decency he would exercise a modicum of self-control. Lots of people who are in relationships will come across someone from the opposite sex who will try to hit on them, but all you have to do is say, no thanks I am not interested.

We can't forget that one of the contributing factors here is the camera. They're being watched, and they know it. On a reality show like this, you can never ever let your guard down.

But he was remorseful. He also said he wasn't in love with Cat.

If Lawson wants to be away from her then why are they sleeping next to each other? I think Lawson wanted to be alone after his message to Candice, and Cat should have left him alone, but that was because he was crying and he hates people to see him cry. Of course Cat and Lawson are not going to make out passionately when Lawson is sober. Lawson knows that it would hurt Candice if he did that.
