Illusionist Sam Powers has pulled off a world first levitation above the waters of Sydney Harbour.

Sam conquered his fear of sharks to stun passing ferry passengers at McMahon's Point in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

He successfully levitated last year's Big Brother runner up and model Jade Albany almost two feet above the water.

'We almost got washed away a couple of times, but if you are a real magician, you should be able to make magic happen anywhere,' he said.

Despite his fears of sharks, illusionist Sam Powers decided to give the levitation at Sydney Harbour a go and pulled it off

'I am terrified of sharks and I did see a sting ray, but my fear and adrenalin rush to do something that has never been done before made it all the more exciting.'

The whole experience left his subject shaking.

'Sam put me in some sort of trance and the next thing I knew, I was hovering a couple of feet above the Harbour, with the waves washing my hair,' said the 24 year old.

'It was incredible and a bit scary, even though I'm a good swimmer.'


'I was literally shaking from the experience when Sam carried me back to dry land. I've no idea how he did it.'

Sam is about to join the largest magic show on earth called 'The Illusionists 2.0' where he will join six of the world's best magicians currently on a world tour.

They’re certainly not the shy retiring types.

And on Thursday night Big Brother star Lisa Clark flaunted her bare chest in a blue tie-up ensemble as she partied with her rumoured lover, fellow Big Brother contestant Jake Richardson.

Pretty Lisa showed off her good looks with her hair pulled back into a tight up-do as she let her cleavage do the talking and teamed the short playsuit with a heavily embroidered white jacket.

It looked like a night of high jinks as Lisa, Jake and Sandra Nixon celebrated recent evictee Jason Roses’ birthday in trendy Sydney eatery, Apollo.


As the gang excited the venue Jake, who was wearing a black and red patterned shirt, was notably never far away from Lisa’s side and at the end of the night even walked along hand in hand as they headed home together.

After the slap up meal, the group are said to have partied until 2am in Kings Cross where things started to get a little crazy.

Sandra could be seen giggling into her hands as she bought some snacks in a convenience store before she then ran along the streets with her head covered under a coat.

Jake and Lisa have been seen out on numerous occasions since being evicted from the Big Brother house.

And things certainly seemed passionate between the duo as they attended Miley Cyrus' gig in Sydney last Friday together.

Jake, 25, and Lisa, 29, were pictured together arriving and leaving the All Phones Arena, with an eyewitness telling Daily Mail Australia that they were dancing closely together.

They were first seen en route to the show, with Jake holding a bottle of champagne for the pair to share.

Jake was in high spirits as, according to an eyewitness, he then ran through all the suites handing out glowsticks.

After the show they were seen leaving the arena together and hugging a friend goodbye.

    It was payback time for Kyle and Jackie O listeners.

    Big Brother winner Tim Dormer, who recently began weekly movie reviews on the breakfast radio show, has angered the show's hosts and fans by revealing the film's ending during his reviews.

    As punishment Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson subjected the reality competition winner to some public humiliation, getting him to hold up a sign reading: 'Honk if you think I'm a W**ker'.

    Punishment: Former Big Brother winner Tim Dormer held up an embarrassing sign in Sydney on Friday morning, asking people to 'Honk' if they hated him ruining the endings of movies in his reviews

    As Tim stood roadside in Rozelle, Sydney during morning commute, the beeps came in thick and fast on the city-bound run of Victoria Rd and it was all caught on camera.


    'They can't even read the sign, they just see my hair in the distance blowing in the wind, my golden curls and they're like "There's Tim!" beep, beep, beep, beep, beep' Tim said enthusiastically in the clip.

    'And as soon as they come close they read the sign and they go "Woahhh! We don't think he's a w**ker, we love him"' he continued.

    'I hate it!': The curly haired blonde was unhappy with the amount of beeps he was getting

    'No-one up close is beeping,' he told the camera confidently at one point and right on cue, the honking began right beside him.

    'Oh, damn it,' he said, shying away from the camera.

    He tried to remain optimistic at times, saying people were just being friendly and saying hello but as the horn symphony continued, Tim seemed to struggle with his public image and lost it.

    The personality began giving drivers the bird and started chanting: 'I hate this. I hate doing this. I hate punishment.'

    'I seriously feel like one of those students who get those cheap jobs holding up those signs outside Pizza Hut.'

    Even KIIS FM drive-time host Tim 'Rosso' Ross stopped by and a little later on, he frustratedly threw the board off to the side, saying 'I'm done!'

    While he was careful to turn over the text on the sign, much to his dismay, the beeping continued.

    Tim held up the uncensored sign outside a local primary school as kids were being dropped off for the day.

    It's not known if there were any complaints over the incident but Daily Mail Australia contacted the school for comment.

    'I feel like one of those students': Tim compared his situation to low paid workers holding boards outside a pizza store

    Tim nearly got fired last Friday for spoiling the ending of Nicole Kidman's thriller Before I Go To Sleep.

    'If you keep doing this, giving away the ending to the movies and ruining it for everyone, we won't continue to do these tweets or text segments,' Jackie told him as they played a prank on him via Twitter.

    Despite the warning, when Tim returned to review Brad Pitt's latest film Fury on Friday's show he just couldn't help himself.

    'You're a s***, you're doing this deliberately Tim.' Jackie scolded him.

    Tanty-time: The Big Brother star wasn't coping with all of the honks he was getting

    'That was not deliberate, I was carried away,' he pleaded.

    Kyle arranged to get the sign pulled out of the cupboard by his producer Simon much to Tim's shock and they told him the task ahead on the busy Sydney road.

    'Nooo. Guys, I'm very recognisable,' he said, which the co-hosts both agreed made for the perfect punishment.
