If he's just going on stage with Sonia to promote his new project with Tim, I'll be fine with it.
If he's going into the house... NO FUCKING WAY. It's not that I dislike Ben, on the contrary I think he comes across as quite lovely and sweet, but I found him absolutely irritating last year, and most of it wasn't his fault. The way they forced him upon as at every opportunity was infuriating. We were told we had to love him. If we didn't LOVE Ben or think he deserved to win, then we were just such awful people. We were constantly bombarded with events and tasks designed specifically to give him airtime. It's like they had chosen their winner, and demoted the rest of the housemates to his supporting cast. He was given the assistant to Big Brother task that first week, he was given the bulk of airtime - they dedicated an ENTIRE episode to him meeting his idols BERT AND PATTI. Even when he was evicted, they let him back in the house for a task, because his eviction was just such a national tragedy. I wish we had been given the opportunity to get to know Ben in a more organic way, because I think he would have been a much more interesting housemate that way, and I would have probably enjoyed watching him in the house a lot more than I did. They over-hyped him and overexposed him and it got to the point where a lot of people started to resent him for it - that sort of favouritism was not fair to the other housemates and it's not fair to Ben himself.
Letting in Tim was a stretch, but I let it pass because he did so much for the show last year. Ben is more the sort of housemate you think "aww, he's just so lovely", but that's about it. Having him enter the house seems pointless and detrimental, especially when this series is finally starting to hit its stride.
