Clawson

Is now a good time for me to watch this episode, or not? I can't keep up with what everyone has posted about it... partly on account of the bourbon, and also on account of the vodka
 
I remember when 'what happened in the bathtub' was good.

I actually just noticed it tonight as well.
 
Allegory time.

Before I met my husband, I was attracted to a guy. We shared social circles, and friends. I was more attracted to him than he was to me. But, we "tried". Hell, when I told my father we were "going to give it a go", he started booking wedding cars.

But.. problem was, *he* loved another chick; and just "liked" me. She was married (I'm going to be judgemental here; and say... married.. for the 3rd time). We "coupled" for months; I had a nervous breakdown. Best. Relationship. Reaction. Ever. I WENT NUTS. ... lol. ?

Two weeks after I was "diagnosed" as off, he made contact. "I can't promise I'll come back". Yeah, whatever. The inner me knew that was code for "she wins". Was the last time I saw him for 5 years.

They're now stupendously happy. Unlikely that the same result would have come from he and I. And I wish/wished them the best.

But -- Cat and Lawson. Hindsight is 20/20. Foresight is 1/10. You've blown the previous; make the most of hte now.
 
Anyone else finding this season being completely uncomfortable to watch? We're only getting the occasional light hearted humour from Jason and Ryan but it just really awkward. From Jake and Lisas boozy night with him forcing himself onto her to producers squeezing as much out of this cheating scandal as they can which is just emotionally destroying Lawson.

Big brother got dark this year.

I liked that story because it was interesting.
But I don't see a future for Cat and Lawson in any timeline.
 
I'm not a fan of Cat and Lawson, in fact I hope they're the next two to be evicted. And even though Lawson has done wrong, and I don't condone it at all....I really feel for him. He's pretty much ruined himself in all aspects of his life. His (current and future) employers may judge him for this. His potential future girlfriends WILL judge him for this. His friends will probably think of him differently (maybe), he'll cop it from strangers on the street. Candice's family will skin him alive. Even his future children may become aware of this indiscretion. I know he made his bed and has to lie in it, nobody's fault but his own etc, but I fear for his mental health. And to see that Cat doesn't seem to care too much (ok maybe she does a little) just grinds my gears. All for 5mins of drunky gropey kissy kissy.
 
Ok... I have watched the short vid of Cat's power play, with Lawson present. And also the one of Lawson's meltdown (damn... it's pretty easy to feel sorry for him watching that).

I take it that if one of the three things Lawson could be informed of, is his girlfriend breaking up with him... and Big Brother has no news to report... that no news is good news?
