I don't think it's a beat up.
They clearly crossed the line, sucking face under the doona and it look to me like the Magic Man has made Cat's fanny tingle with a few choice toe thrusts under the bubbles.
Both have expressed their desire to leave the BB house in the wake of what happened, out of pure shame because they know that we know.
More pertinently, they know that Clawson's (surely ex) girlfriend must know.
Prepare for a flood of croc tears and pathetic mea culpas.

The 1st shot is the morning after when Cat cried in the kitchen. I have a feeling Lawsons saying he has dug a hole could be that he is blaming going into Sanctuary for the reason he is nominated. Is that the power room with Cat sitting on a black sofa? And where is Lawson that he is standing in front of a red curtain looking so shocked?
What could they have possibly said or done in the tub for the others to find out about it? or, will only the viewers find out? If it were nomination talk wouldn't BB have brought that up before nominations?
The news does this to me every night and then instead of saying what it is in the 1st five minutes they wait until nearly the end an hour later and most of the time I realize I have become the victim of false advertisement.

This inconsequential showing of BB frustrates me to no end.The DR sessions were definitely after Jason told them. You will notice that they are wearing the exact same outfits in the kitchen with Jason as they wore when they first left the sanctuary...so they must have stopped in the kitchen right after they walked out of it. In the DR, Cat has completely changed her clothes and Lawson has changed his hat...so these were made afterwards. They're not fooling me...
I'm glad there are eagle eyed guys like you who pick on these little things. I just watch it all in one go and take it at face value. Silly me

Doesn't all this occur during the weekly task? If so, whatever happens couldn't have been that big of a deal considering how casually Lawson and Cat were chatting after the task was over.

Ryan summed it up nicely when he said something along the lines that even if they liked each other they could have waited 7 weeks to act upon it.
Gives them plenty of time to get to know each other as mates, more chance to stay in the game and less chance hurting anyone on the outside. Imo personally.

I had another thought that maybe Lawson told Cat about the twelve points she would get as Head of House when it came time for nominations?

I thought perhaps in the bath they spoke about Lawson leaving his partner, kinda like the conversation drew and tully had one Friday night party. Maybe he said he would leave her and then like to pursue cat or something like that?

Definitely not hahahah, but I don't want to get my hopes up incase it's a let down!
I didn't say that the kissing under the sheets thing was a beat up. I meant that this promo that leads you to believe that something went on in the bath is. And it's a beat up in the sense that whatever this bath story is... it's probably not nearly as exciting as the promo itself.

What would be the timeline of events in the Sanctuary?
They enter the Sanctuary.
They have a meal.
They play some board games.
They have a bath together
They go in the pool.
They get changed into different clothes.
They go in the same bed and start kissing under the covers.
Did they go into the bath before the pool or was it the other way around?
We can't know their entire timeline for the evening, but the significant factor is that bed was obviously last on the list. And only a minute before bed, Lawson sounded as though not much had happened. Yes, they were a bit close too close for comfort in the pool, but that really seemed to be all Cat.

Maybe Lawson thought that they wouldn't catch what he and Cat were doing in the bath? Maybe he forgot there were cameras in the Sanctuary? Or maybe he just told Cat about the 'Deadly Dozen' superpower?
I doubt they were doing anything kinky in the bath. Like I said, evidence points to there being not a lot going on until they got into bed. The "I'll sleep on the couch" line was not spoken by a guy who had just gotten head in the bath.
Neither of them forgot about the cameras... hence the sheet over their heads in bed.
If it was nominations talk of any kind, then surely we would have seen the consequences of that during yesterday's noms. Big Brother could have put them up for eviction automatically, he could have taken Cat's superpower away, etc... Presenting a breach of that rule to the viewers this long after the fact makes little sense. The only reaction they could expect us to have over that is "why the hell didn't you show us this before?".
I think the main thing here is that the sanctuary happened nearly a week ago, why is it just now we are seeing this stuff? I can't figure that out.
There's no kind of Big Brother ratings grab quite like two people getting it on, while one has a partner who we all know is watching on the outside. It's always been this way. Thing is, those situations always kept going long enough for BB to get a lot of mileage out of them. I think the Clawson situation (unlike say Marty and Jess, or Drully) has come to a stop quickly and abruptly... so now BB has to do what ever it takes to get that mileage out of it, by still using the Santuary night, as nothing has happened since.
So there may not be much to this bath footage... but BB producers will squeeze out whatever they can. A bit like desperately trying to keep using a tube of toothpaste that you may as well have chucked out a few days ago.

Two housemates often get taken into the Power Room for a power play don't they? I suspect Cat was asked to bring someone in with her, they were shown footage of what happened in the Sanctuary and the person who was in with her went and told the rest of the housemates that they had a bath together and relayed whatever conversation Cat and Lawson had in the bath. I seem to recall that they were asking each other personal questions, but we weren't really shown the footage of what the questions and answers were. BB cut all of that footage out. (Damn!) No doubt whoever it was Cat took in with her will relay this new info back to the other housemates bringing the Cat / Lawson issue up again and putting pressure on both of them. Maybe that's why we see the footage of Lawson in the Diary room talking to BB about it? We'll have to wait and see I guess.
