Yeah I think David definitely would have thought his time was up. You could tell he was trying to not let any tell tale emotions slip out via a facial expression - hence the dead pan look :android:
But yes, in feeling like his time was up I can imagine he would have been at peace with it. I think he needs to be saved a few more times before he starts to relax in the knowledge that he has some supporters out there.
He was genuinely shocked and surprised to see Jake go - even though he put him forward for noms.
WHEN he does come out, I'm going to make sure this thread becomes part of his post eviction mental health medicine :)

Girls like her don't go to the formal with anybody...they tend to not get past the back seat of their date's parent's car in the parking lot. Oops...did I just become THAT girl? Sorry...:sneaky:
 
Ugh...I'm happy he is safe and if he didn't get most votes...at least Skye did. And I hope Skye fans now vote for him and Lisa goes tomorrow...while he gets top second most votes. But two things are bugging the hell out of me. First, it pisses me off that the audience didn't cheer for him when Sonya addressed him. I don't know if was because he was the first after commercial and they were caught off guard or what...but wtf? Not a frigging peep. That had to have been noticed...even if it was a mistake...and assholes like Lisa would love to throw something like that in his face. I wish he knew how much he is supported. I didn't get that at all.

Second, if it is Lisa going tomorrow...it won't matter if he has highest votes after Skye. They will save everyone before him and make him the last two left with Lisa because of the fight. I hope that it doesn't make him think he was at the bottom. Between that and no one cheering...he will have no idea how much he really is liked. It just sucks. I hope he gets massive cheers tomorrow at least...
 
Um...I'm a total newbie and not even sure if I'm posting correctly, ha! But I saw a David appreciation thread and just HAD to sign up. I've liked him from the start! He appears to be, at least to me, the only sincere HM. So sweet, in a roundabout foot in mouth kinda way. I'd love to just lift him up and give him a hug. Ya hear that Lisa's boobs....I said LIFT UP, I advise you to do the same.

I've actually been thinking that it's possible the audience were just caught off guard with him being the first to be addressed by Sonia after the break...

@moon3k we learned definitively last year that the audience is coached. We knew from the earlier weeks that they were told to cheer loudly for some who were getting no support on the outside but then we got proof that they were told not to cheer for Jade the week she was sitting there with Ed I think it was. They made it look like she was going home and no one liked her, only for her to stay of course.

The cheers in the crowd mean shit as we saw tonight. Huge ones for Jake... a guy who barely warranted a mention on social media before tonight other than to do with being Tim's HM (I wish Sonia had said straight up that's the only reason he trended, not because of some stupid love triangle) so just do your best to ignore them. The crowd's full of kids to begin with but they're coached when to cheer to boot.

If you'd been around last year to see all the names we gave to HMs, especially SpecialEd, you'd know that jokes like that fit right in here! We try to pretend we're cool but we love a good dad joke.

In case you haven't ventured elsewhere in the forums yet, Lisa is known as Lisafer on here (Lucifer) so I'll be definitely adding LiVid when I refer to Satan's treatment of our man.

Oh don't worry...I'm full of lame nicknames. So far, I call the whole "cool kid group" the OTTC Club. It is a play on Lisa calling Skye "OTT" - over the top. So I call them "OTTC" - only think they're cool. I call Cat the Crazy Cat Lady and my personal best was coming up with Slavid for David (Slay + David). I haven't been run out of here yet, so you should be o.k. Welcome to the board, fellow David supporter.

I like Livid, it's perfect because it pretty much sums up my feelings every time I see Lisa turn on David. :shifty:

So...do you think we need to keep voting for David or is it a forgone conclusion that the person with the second lowest from last night is going home? The percentage differences were pretty large. Can anyone remember how much the breakdowns changed last week?
