David Appreciation Thread

Some of these hms have no freaking self awareness! They are complaining about what David does as if they have not done it. Because he is a bit weird for them and not part of their clique he can't get away with it. I hope him and Skye do form an alliance and keep beating these hms each week. David always says how he knows he is this or that it not to everyone's liking, he believes these wrongs about him and thinks he doesn't have a chance and the others around him have better to offer- fuck that! He seems to be the few with any self awareness and I enjoy that he offends these hms.

Being different is cool in my books, knowing you're self enough to know this about yourself and be able to identify your behaviour makes you even cooler. Sitting there and deciding that a person is weird and have all these faults about them as if you don't do it yourself- yeah that shits me! He better get most saved. To think I said I would not be voting this season... Yeah I'm a hypocrite ha!

although watching the others, they were busy bitching and complaining with hints about who to target
looks like that group is growing in power- Sam, Sandra, Lawson, Cat, Ryan and now Lisa. I wonder if they will rally Leo to join in, since he's fascinated by Sam atm

Argh I can't believe this, but I might prefer to see cat and Lisa to go if that means breaking the group up a bit.

I really dislike travis, so you don't understand how hard it is to say not him to go

It's hard to tell what's going in without the live feeds and the cut and paste editing, but you can pick up on a few things like uniqueness not being appreciated or falling at certain hms feet or being at the risk of being nommed because you don't etc, it is becoming noticeable even if bb doesn't give us the full footage.

Glad were on the same page this far

I know in my heart of hearts that Alan Rickman would vote to save David. Because he's so epic cool, and epic cool people vote to save David.
 
I wrote this in tonight's show thread, but I think he has become their 'holier than thou' scapegoat.

He isn't in any of the cool groups. Any of the power groups. He's one of the few misfits. People are seeing themselves now as power groups or the groups of the cool kids. David is on the outer and has become the target. They complain about what he is doing, but it is all stuff they do. As he isn't in any of the groups he is an easy target. Someone for people to focus on rather than each other. They also complain about him as a way of pretending, a way of trying to pretend to other people that they don't do this sort of thing.

Hey David lovers
I haven't been contributing for the last few days but it's only because you guys are so much better at it than I am and you have all the stuff worked out and analysed before I've even watched the episode!
I've been keeping an eye on you all though and I have to say your support and enthusiasm for my little brother is very encouraging :)
It's become very apparent that there is not a lot of love in the house for him but knowing there is plenty on the outside gives me a warm and fuzzy :cat:
It's time to fire up those trigger fingers and get voting!
And unofficially - David will shout you all drinks by way of thanks when he's out :thumbsup:
 
I wrote this in the episode thread too: do you think he is a target because of jealousy that Tim spent time with him about the beard? That they see him as the producers favorite?

I'm happy if you can drag his butt on these boards afterwards!

David has supporters, but supporters need to also be more than vocal, they need to actually vote! Even if it's one vote. A vote is a vote is a vote
 
I can't believe David got so many nomination points compared to the others.

Maybe… Maybe they find him a threat and are trying to get him out.

But seriously, how did he get 10 more nomination points than Travis? I'm sure David is feeling un-loved as it is but to get those nomination points. But he seems pretty clued on and knew he would be nominated.
 
It was funny when Sandra said she was offended by him again (like she should just get used to it, he doesn't do it cause he's mean, he's just awkward) and said something like "my mates wouldn't like any of the girls in here, thats because I dont have any mates" so it wasn't even an insult anyway it was a self deprecating joke on himself! geez I would be his mate, I like quirky out of the box type people and especially in fellow males as I cant stand that stereotypical behaviour like Travis, Ryan & Dion have.

That being said I still don't like Tim Dormer, there's quirky then there's all attention on me and what I am doing and I will play you all to my advantage people like him.
