Episode Day 17 (24/09/2014) Daily Show and Nominations #2

after the money in the first week it's so predictable kat and priya would be up. it's like priya said when they were buying immunity - 'how long will it last?'. she gets the game and these predictable housemates.
She thought they would have been safe without immunity. It was Katie who insisted they buy it.

All this waffle about SAVE PRISUS... Am I the only one who doesn't give a toss about her :smug:

I don't see why she is rated so highly myself... I just see her as a greedy, self centered, manipulative garden variety HM like most of the others.... :sneaky:

Why do we call her 'Prisus'?

For anyone interested wiki does a good BBAus page, with records of who noms who, who is evicted, and summaries of episodes etc.

They don't have these nomination stats up yet though.

I just jad a look at the noms table, and I don't think anyone has a clue what is going on at all yet. If someone wakes up and can organise on the down low there should be very little competition. They are no factions I can see, except Katie and Lisa, but it is just them, or maybe Lawson and Cat... but realy, I think it was not too thought through.

Do you think Aisha and Lawson will remain close now that the housemates are playing as individuals?

this is how I saw it...

girls took drinks to have later

boys worked it out and thought it would be funny to take them back and share them

no one was pissed off about them taking the drinks, everyone was laughing about how the boys nicked them back.

girls found out and got all snotty that drinks were missing and people had gone into their bags.

girls carried on about why they took the drinks in the first place and how wrong it was for guys to take them back

it became an issue because the girls have no sense of humour and couldn't see the funny side to the guys prank

cat commented to someone that if it's funny to steal the drinks in the first place, then it's funny to have them stolen back....I think she was meaning the girls reaction was overboard because it was just a bit of fun....she wasn't complaining that the girls took the cans, but commenting on their carry on after they were discovered.

lisa and Katie jumped on cat about this comment (obviously someone opened their trap) and I think cat got frustrated with the way the conversation was going. How many times could she say "I don't have a problem with you taking the drinks, I just said blah blah" but lisa is hearing impaired and kept on and on about cat supposedly bitching about her stealing the drink. ie "if you had a problem with us taking the drink you should just say it". No one got shitty about you stealing the drink....DID YOU HEAR THAT LISA....no one cared!

They had a bit of fun with it and you girls cracked the shits and THAT is what cat was talking about....it was funny to take the drinks back....I would have cried in frustration too.

Lisa seems to be a pain in the arse and I wouldn't want to get into an argument with her because she doesn't stop badgering but she doesn't seem to have a clue what she's actually arguing about...she is right, even if she's not.

Run that by me again...why do they freeze the voting? How does freezing it for an hour allow them to save someone? It resumes after the freeze? Or am I missing something?

Isn't it weird to think that BB tries so hard to set up drama by sending in Tim to "shake things up" and there is literally more drama over two cans of soft drink. Is this not a lesson to the producers? You don't have to try so hard to create drama, it creates itself. Truth is stranger than fiction, and that is what originally made this franchise so successful. The first drama was over the girls taking $20,000 and this next big thing was over $2 of soda, go figure..

Lisa does come across as someone that takes the opportunity to make it all about her (backed up by Sam saying this in a previous episode as well). It wouldn’t surprise me if she thought that her drama with David last week and her ‘standing up for herself’ was what resulted in Lisa and Skye being highest saved. With that in mind, it could be that she thinks “we” are behind her, and standing up for herself is paying off – hence the new drama with Cat and the others.

Hi,
Long time lurker here, sort of first time poster.
Everyone complains about the bad editing, and to be honest i never noticed it, until last night and the night before.

Last night they showed Gemma being evicted, and then went on to the morning (well at least i thought it was) but then we see Gemma in the dressing room. Why dont they just show Gemma being eviticed at the end of the show in chronological order.

Also like the day be outside the diary room there was a drink bottle, and then it shows someone else going to the diary room putting the drink bottle down.

Not sure if this was the thread to post it in.

"Apparently her marriage was only seven months long, and apparently after it was over, she went and dated some guy and was "the crazy girlfriend type" and screwed him over in whatever way."

I've read (or heard in the voiceovers!) her marriage was seven years long. It's one or the other. She seems like one of the more grounded and sensible people in there. SAVE CAT! But the porn wouldn't surprise me, as everyone's done porn these days it seems. The Vicar of Dibley probably has a porn tape.

Maybe they were just bitchy girls, making up crap?
from Cats BB profile..I remembered I had read this last week

On the stigma attached to divorce:
I hate telling people I was only married for a year. You find yourself trying to justify it just to meet people’s expectations. I know what I had and I know why it ended, and it ended for reasons that it had to. I’m not ashamed of it, but telling people can be embarrassing.

On online dating:
I once went on a date with a guy that I met on a millionaire matchmaker website and it was the worst experience of my life … I got home that night and took my profile off straight away.

Good summary.

But what sparked Katie and Lisaggy to take the sodas in the first place was because everyone else had their share, and Katie and Lisaggy had missed out. So they were compensating for missing out. I don't really see what they did as all that bad. However, Lawman and Travisty going through their luggage was much more sinful. And if Lawman is now besties with Travisty, then Lawman loses extra brownie points in my eyes.
just had to laugh at Lisaggy lol

just finished watching the show on GO as i missed it last night.. Firstly what the hell was lisa wearing were they shorts or undies, worst excuses for nominations .. nominating someone for farting, dibba dobba and emotional...really what has this year come too and least but not least the editing of the nominations was terrible

I think now that the HM's know that Nominations are to be done straight after Evictions, they might be more prepared next week
