Yeah the producers probably know they'll split the cash on the outside but it's more of a way to try to force some drama for the audience and play some mind games with the HMs. Gives them an added storyline tomorrow night and hopefully beyond if it messes with the HMs a bit.

I wish they'd done more with this pairs twist, there must have been plenty of potential mind games but as usual these days it ended up being a short rather uninventive twist.
