i think it doesnt matter on the outside, as long as in the house they're not SURE they'll be sharing,
this means that they'll have to be nice to the person with the 20k, cause if they end up hating each other they wont be sharing it

Yeah I think that's the whole point of it. Sure if they're friends at the end they'll probably split it but until then during the process of making the decision and while they're in the house, they'll never know for sure because they can't talk about it.
