Well I don't see any protests going on around here and if I had been told there was a group in Melbourne protesting a church, I'd be shaking my head at them too. Denying people the right to worship isn't going to stop them from believing what they do or make them disappear.

As for condemning Matt - you and I and everyone else still don't know the facts of why so all we can go on is what he chose to say.

Most likely. I know it's a very sleepy and peaceful area there, only one street away from Sunshine Plaza, the largest shopping centre on the Sunshine Coast. Plus I'm sure the Mosque will have a far greater patronage than when the site was the Uniting Church and all that increased traffic will make it really hard for people to access the Catholic Church next door or the Anglican Church a few doors down.
