Benjamin HM 2012 - Officially joins Behind Big Brother.

Your wish is my command: Behind Big Brother: Extended Interview
via @youtube
Really awesome interview - only thing is Alex contradicted himself heaps in that video, rebutting a lot of stuff that he's previously said in the past elsewhere. But apart from that, I enjoyed it. Thanks Ben! And Alex.

No bullies in All Stars.

No mate... none. Not a one... Not a single bully anywhere to be seen for a million miles...

In fact, I heard there will be rainbows and lollipops, ice-cream and squishy toys and ball pools and re-runs on a big screen of Estelle riding her hobby horse! FFFFUUUNNNNNN..... Whoop whhhoppp.... Come over to mine, we'll watch together bro!!! Sweet as cuz....

All I got from that Scoopla video was many clips of the 2012 season (more than any of the other seasons) with lame dancing and "happy" times trying to give the impression it was a happy and great season. Not going to happen ever. Did you edit the video Ben? It screamed "me, me, me" and "The 2012 crew was the best".

Where was the moments like Ben and Stacey eating cake and plotting against Estelle in the "gossip/chit chat/secret room"? Where is the footage of Estelle crying when she listens to Michael nominating and he states the whole house HATES her? Where is the footage of Zoe breaking Estelle's toy horse?

Wish Estelle would join this forum and put things right. :)

And regarding to Alex saying Ben would not have won if it was evict instead of save votes isn't the reason why he won. He won because the producers aired the voting tally two nights before the finale. Estelle was clear in the lead. Layla and Ben fans then stepped up their support even harder and Estelle supporters had no chance after saving her nearly every week. Makes sense that Ben's mum and boyfriend voted like crazy and campaigned hard. Reveals that it was who had the most friends/family that helped determine the winner. I'm pretty sure Estelle didn't come from a big family.

And with that statement that Alex said, this is very important, Ben would not have won if it was vote to evict and Tim would have been gone too in the first week if voting was that way. First week... Yep I can see that. People grew to love Tim as the season went on just like Sara-Marie went through in season 1.

Ben was just lucky he was hardly up for nominations. I'm pretty sure he was up the 2nd week and narrowly missed going by a few percent from Ryan. Then he developed his alliance "the bully crew" and didn't get nominated to the 4th final week which saw him, Stacey and Estelle up and Stacey was sent on her way.

Reckon Michael might even have taken out the competition (he was the producers favourite) if Josh didn't leave and he didn't hook up with Estelle. Even the biggest Michael fans saw the hypocrisy.

I'm very happy to leave this thread - once my question is answered re: Estelle's supposed "actions" toward Ben that weren't shown on camera and which caused him to bully her.

How would you feel if exposing Estelle's behaviours/actions invite hatred/ridicule of her? Would the ends justify the means?

Or maybe it just might be better to leave the past in the past ...?

There actually was an Estelle conversation that had a negative revelation - which I edited out. I am not interested in defaming anyone. I will take responsibility for my actions. I am actually taking responsibility for implications formed by editing which I believed were probs sensationalized. But I this on board - learn and then move forward.[DOUBLEPOST=1410860317][/DOUBLEPOST]Take*

LMAO could that be any more ironic?

"I'm taking responsibility for my actions"

Then in the next sentence you claim you're taking responsibility for "implications formed by editing."

That is NOT taking responsibility. That is shifting responsibility to channel 9.

Grow up Ben, you're almost 40!

Hi Guys,

I hope you are all well.

My name is Benjamin Norris and from what I know... I appear to be one of the most hated winners of Big Brother EVER on this site.

I would like to clear 4 points up before I get slammed with negativity.

1) I have been a member on this site before, although not properly since 2012.

I have been a fan of this site since it first began. I have had a few different member names over the years, but I can't remember most of them. I usually came on here whilst I was auditioning to see if I could learn about the then upcoming series. This was over four different series - I tried out for BB in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2012 - clearly I was only successful once. There have also been a few incidents on this site where people have claimed to be me.

2) I am aware that some of my actions in Big Brother were irritable, wrong and sometimes very hard - even for me to watch. But in life we make mistakes and move on. (Hopefully learning from them.) However there is a lot about my time in the house that I am proud of.

3) My time with Estelle in Big Brother was very challenging - she was at times so hard to understand as a person because she was inconsistent. One moment grand standing one thing and then completely contradicting herself the next. Housemates would gather in rooms to discuss what to do about her daily. The real problems I had with her were never aired, but the reactions I had to her were! I honestly went up to her and told her "I have been saying this OR I have been saying that" I bitched about her to her face as well as behind her back. I would love to discuss with you all the things I found problematic about Estelle, but for reasons of 'letting go' and out of respect for her I will not as it would just seem pathetic to go over. My season of Big Brother would not have been the same without her. She put in an amazing effort and to be honest I believe she was the back bone to the series. Every housemate went on a roller coaster with her and that made for great television.

P.S: While last year I went on a holiday to the Gold Coast with Estelle, I can sadly say we are not friends. I have deleted every social media connection with her - The reason for this is that I was sick of A) hating myself for what had been and could never be changed. B) worrying about her because she worried me. C) Feeling betrayed by the comments she made about me to mutual friends.

4) I was the 'gay' contestant in 2012 but I was never representing the community! I am my own person. Gay people can be fabulous, rude, sporty, straight acting, flamboyant, good looking, unappealing, self obsessed, narcissistic, successful, parents, lawyers, unemployed... the list goes on. What I do like is how our individual and unique stories are consistently being told because we are interesting both male and female.

NOW, I am on back on here officially to have fun. I love Behind Big Brother people for their passion. I am highly emotional and do say the wrong thing from time to time, most of the time I then try to apologise. At the end of the day I want to share with you my backstage look at the new series for Scoopla. I want you to post what you would like to know and in return I will do my very best to get your answers.

Lots of Love

Benjamin x

Oh i loved u Benjamin, so happy u won, and i actually told u that in a quick chat at Hobart airport u were last to board and i told u i got in a fight on FB sticking up for u, and u told me your mum did too :) love ya work hope see u back on here with the goss heaps

98 % of the house complained about one person. I do believe the audience knew every HM had issues with Estelle, so when you watched the show I am sure you questioned the sanity of us all. Because apart from quirky behavior - nothing was ever shown. Do you feel something was missing? Or do you honestly believe we were all just a pack of arseholes. Estelle disappeared with no response to what the audience believed was massive bullying - so things just aren't adding up.

P.s I knew Michael burnt the rollers and asked him out right in the Big Brother TV challenge - it wasn't aired to save that for their secrets episode.
