Appreciate Aisha

Doesn't she have extremely high standards when it comes to men?

Travis is not bad, height-wise (or, at least, he is taller than her). Yet she said she'll never be with him in the outside world because of his height? So she'll let down a physically attractive guy because of his height? She'd probably let down those who aren't rugged, despite the good height.

I just don't like people like that, whether they're men or women. They seem like immature teenagers.

And I thought Skye would be that shallow, but she turned to be completely the opposite... :O

Not saying she's a whore but she comes kind of comes across as easy.. Like, it's as though Travis didn't even have to work for it at all. He's given her some winks & flirty smiles - next minute she's all over him..
But then again who knows, we barely see much.

This needs to be added to every single post on these forums when talking about what HMs are doing in the house from now on.

I think Aisha is going to be the pretty one who is here nor there. She won't add much to the house one way or the other. Her and Skye's thing seems too much too soon. I can't deal with people who are all loved up after 5 minutes. Her thing with Travis was also too much too soon. I did have to laugh at her justifying it saying it feels good to cuddle. I kept thinking, "you've been in the house for 2 seconds. Give me a break!" I'm indifferent to her. She's just there. We'll see if that changes.

I would like to apologize for my comment about Aisha, but since I'm not native English speaker I didn't mean she is slut, I just said for me it was too early to do what she did in that way in spa. That's all.

Love all the slut shaming.

Seriously though, why is it the girl that usually gets all the heat, the same thing with Jade last year, as much as she was all over him, Ed also went to Jade at the end of the day, and who was the one that climbed into Jades bed first?

Because men are mere flesh and blood and females are sirens sent from the depths of hell to test and corrupt us. We are mere guys, what are we meant to do? We have no responsibility for our actions! We have no power to control ourselves and so the female must.

I don't get it either, it is strange.

It's funny, have you ever had the observation of a group of girls calling another girl a slut and then another time one is talking about sleeping with a guy and because he's a slut it's good because it'll just stay as sex.

I like her, Travis grinding or no Travis grinding.

She seems like a genuine friend to Skye (while Lisa, Gemma, etc are quite condescending to her) and I like how she's really supportive of Lawson (especially his magic).

if it were left entirely up to young men, courtship would amount to saunas, glory holes, and casual sex in the toilets. historically we have always counted on it being the female to put the brakes on and set the boundaries. and if not the female concerned, her friends will even put the brakes on for her. how often do you see a ryan tell a travis 'hey mate, you shouldnt go home with her you have had too much to drink'?
this is pretty much the life lesson dion was espousing with his remarks regarding women and self respect. welcome to the real world.

Are people seriously saying she's a slut!??! What does that make Travis?? I think Aisha thinks Travis is just alright - a cute-ish boy in the house, and she's bored. Does that make her the classiest person around? No, but that also means Travis is the same. They're on the same page, so who cares?

I like her as a person. She seems rather nice, and I think I'd be friends with her. I have a lot of friends like her, actually. Do I think she's like Tahan? Not at all. Not sure why people made that connection - is it because she's part Maori? Because she's rather quiet whereas Tahan was very loud-mouthed (loved her though lol). Tahan also had very strong morals/beliefs that set her apart from the other housemates, whereas Aisha seems in the norm on that. Tahan is more like Dion on that. Also, Aisha's a pretty girl, but Tahan is drop-dead-beautiful. None of the girls last year came close to Tahan (sorry, Jade, you were nowhere near). This year, I think a couple other girls are just like Aisha, but a different "type" I suppose. I did notice Dion liked Aisha though lol.

One more thing - her accent is fine. I like it much more than most of the other housemate's accents, tbh.

This is very true, actually. But I don't think she wants anything but good times with him in the house? If she was after something serious (like Jade was), I'd criticize it, but.. she just seems like she isn't. Jade was definitely clueless, though.
