His accent is NOT Bogan. He's got a strong ethno-Australian accent, akin to America's New Jersey accent (also spoken by Italians).
Bogans shorten their vowels and elongate their ah's. Think, Michelle & Travis '07 - They had a Bogan accent.
Travis has an accent that is usually affiliated with Aussies of Greek and Italian descent. They can sound 'strong' but that doesn't mean it's a "Bogan" accent. Their accent is distinctive to Bogans and even Lebanese Australians.
Australia, like America, is starting to evolve their own regional/ethnic accents.

Interesting..... I know that he is off Italian descent, but I personally just hear a bogan accent when he speaks. I guess for me unless you are speaking in a posh Aussie accents I just think that who ever it is sounds like a bogan, I'm sure my voice sounds bogan as well.

Inigo, you're from Melbourne right? Travis has the the typical Melbourne wogboy (slightly bogan inflected?) accent but I wouldn't call it a fair dinkum strayan bogan accent such as Paul Hogan and the like.

I'm an accent freak. I can tell the slightest difference even if it's a subtle change.
The Australian accent isn't as big or compelling as the American or UK accents. So of course people wouldn't easily distinct our ethnic or regional accents. And I don't blame them. Most of us think Aussies have either a Bogan accent, city accent or a cultivated/posh accent. But there are 'gray' areas. I personally don't fit wholly in either of these boxes.

Nope I'm from the bush outside of Sydney. In the past I've worked with a lot of people of Italian descent and Lebanese descent, who are from Sydney and they sort of sound like Travis...... but not quite..... If you get what I mean.

The only criticisms I would have of this is that he will be hanging out at Eve, not Crown Casino, that's where all the Z-grade celebs go.......... meanwhile if anyone wants to meet Drew from 2013, he was "hosting" a party there tonight. And the tarty floosies seem to be brunettes these days

What's so annoying about him?
From a guys perspective, he seems like a pretty cool bloke.
The only thing that has irked me is him saying to Katie that she should buy shit for herself, because that's what he would do, then saying that they should both be spending 3k of their 10k on the housemates, and that it's still "7k".

I'm thinking along the lines of what if BB didn't make the choice so easy for the next HOH. It's one thing to divvy up some cash, quite another if instead of cash they were offered a car or holiday to a certain amount that also came off the winners prize money.
Let them work that one out!
