I think it's legit. They may have met at the Boozy Brunch in July (certainly it was after Ed's birthday weekend). Ed needed to get a girlfriend because Nick has one now and Nick gave him the visual clue with his gf. The similarity in the girls' appearances is quite fascinating. Ed always said that he and Nick's personalities were even more similar than their looks.

as for them suddenly going public ... doesn't that kind of happen in any new relationship ... you don't want to tell your friends (or in this case a bunch of totally random and sometimes even downright hostile followers on your SM) until you yourself think there is something real to talk about ...

I'm just playing devil's advocate here - I'd rather he took her to Perth myself - he could have introduced her to the screechy sisters and she might have got some free styling advice as a side benefit :)
 
Maybe @crimmy ...I don't know, I just find the sudden 0 to 100 thing pretty suspect personally. It certainly happens in every relationship (deciding to go "official" together, etc) but I've never seen it go so full on suddenly like that. Something about their photos don't look right to me either, but Ed does have the tendency to look awkward in pictures (especially coupley ones) so who knows really.

Funny how that is, I'll grant you that as it seems to apply to pretty much any destination.

Doesn't make what I pointed out any less true though. It's a shame Ed didn't have the balls and mental fortitude to put an end to Jade's infatuation before it got to the obsessive stage.

Now he has to wear the consequences of his gutless inaction almost a year after being out of the house. I stand by I've previously stated in that it is beyond me how he hopes to benefit from all of this.

Upsetting (deliberately or not it's up for debate) jade fans won't get him the media hosting gig he was so desperately after, you wouldn't think so anyway. :confused:

I totally agree though that at some point all of the hm's will move on to new relationships and they are entitled - as are the new partners - to post their happy snaps etc ... its just that Australia is a huge place - WHY pick Sydney ... WHY pick somewhere he knows is in Jade's new neighbourhood? It's just very thoughtless on his part ... but I don't think its intentionally aimed at hurting Jade ...

Is it really part of Ed's moral responsibility to avoid places that Jade might be for fear of hurting her feelings? If he likes that beach and he likes Sydney, he should not need to avoid it because his ex lives there.

No to the first sentence.
He was there hoping Jade was on the beach to get a glimpse of her in a Bikini displaying her beautiful toned body and ample chest, that well and truly fills out her bikini top. But Jade was st St Elsewheres lol.
What is that ad - Compare the pair..... :wink:

He really should have just used that compare app Jade is advertising.
 
Have to give my 2 cents worth.

Maybe, just maybe - Jade has moved on and realised that it was not going to happen with the Ed and she is glad she is not in a relationship with him.
Maybe, she had a light bulb moment, after her close friends gave her some advise. Maybe, she saw what others said.
Maybe, she is someone that can forgive and forget. Forgive herself, for being so into him - when he said he was not into her.
Who knows????? Who really cares????? I wish the best for both. If it is not working for either party - IT IS NOT WORKING!
They might have all hooked up this weekend, and Ed introduced Jade to his new lady, and they hit it off and then Jade understood why she was not Eds type. Well for a start, Jade does not indulge in booze and maybe that is why the connection was not solid, from Eds point of view.

Who the hells bells knows - I wish them all Happiness, that sometimes that can be hard to find :)

But as we were discussing recently, for a lot of people being broken up with stings for a long time, even well after everyone's moved on, and seeing an ex with someone new can take a while to get used to. Maybe Ed's been slammed unfairly, but they all probably have been in here at some point or another. We assume and speculate and have opinions based on our own perceptions, and then we decide we were wrong about something and have an existential crisis, and then Tim drinks pee or whatever and we forget all that and move on.

Exactly! I'm maybe a little tipsy, and at this moment I couldn't care about the ed thing anymore and the arguments of why he is being slammed and that it's harsh- if I think he is a dick for doing what he did, then I can say he is a dick for that very reason. I will move on and then I will think he is ok at some other point for all I know. That's the point of these discussions I suppose. And good point about moving on- tim was a dick the other time for the choose life crap and now I am back to being a fan. A moment in time rant or rants is not going to be my thoughts on a person forever. I think it's great people see things in a better perspective than I did in the ed debacle. Our experiences in life pave the way we view things and for me I don't see what he did in a good light, but others can think what they want, so please by all means express yourselves- just be sure to understand it goes both ways.

So when would it be fine for Ed to take a holiday break in Bondi? Or is that large Australian iconic holiday destination off limits until he gets the sense that Jade is completely over him? That's a tough and unrealistic ask, I reckon.

I haven't kept up to date with the personal goings on of these former hms so I have no idea how much of Jade's life Ed is aware of, such as where she lives etc..

If Ed is still in regular contact with Jade and is fully aware that she was going to be at Bondi at that particular time than I suppose you could argue there is an element of insensitivity about his actions.

But I highly doubt that Ed was deliberately being a douche and trying to make Jade jealous or somethin' given that during their time in the house he repeatedly made it painfully clear that he wasn't into her, besides getting some physical affection that is. On the contrary I get the feeling he would be quite hapy that she's moved one and found someone that makes her happy.

Whilst it's true that they made a go of having relationship outside the BB house due to Jade's persistence in wooing him, I suspect it was partly because Ed felt guilty if he didn't at least give it a shot for her sake. But I don't think Ed's heart was ever in it tbh.

I agree ed was never into jade and also he felt like he had to give it a shot for her sake. No denying that. You know that everything you have said about the ed and jade thing I have completely agreed with you... Every last word conny! But he did give it a shot and therefore I think he should have been more sensitive about it. Nothing will make me see it otherwise, that's my thoughts on the matter. Now I honestly can say I had my rant and couldn't care anymore. It was a dick move but that isn't to say I think he is the devil. I'd also like to say ed can move on and do whatever, but jade can feel however she wants too, this wasn't about that. It was about me thinking it was insensitive. Just to be clear that I'm not saying ed can't move on.

My issue with Ed was that everything was so calculated. He came very close to being evicted early. I wish for Jade's sake he had been booted earlier.

This whole new girl seems scripted too. But she is definitely gorgeous and I don't mind seeing them together. Australia seems to be disproportionately filled with beautiful people.

These girls. How long can they keep dressing like this? As a gimmick for the show and as promotion for their cheap clothes, I can understand it. I definitely admire their entrepreneurship and did not expect it from them. But these pink childish dresses and fake hair have limits.

I think it was very sudden - until last night the only one of Ed's 'people' who followed Monika was Boog, and she and Monika just started following each other after they met at Baroque after Ed and Monika's ball event last weekend (Boog deleted the photo of the 3 of them and the one of herself wearing the same dress, standing side on and sucking her breath in). Nick only started following her last night.

It wouldn't be tacky if Ed had posted his pics at Bondi - but Coogee, when he would be well aware from SM that Jade lives there and often hangs out at that beach, is tacky.
