I was just thinking: what is the point of insulting other people?
Someone calls you a Gaylord or a F** . And if you are gay all you can say is thank you for telling me the obvious, yes I am gay and can I help you with anything? It's not the insult that makes you mad it's the way they think they can speak to you like that.
If anyone calls you gay and you are just think of it as a compliment guys

I usually find it comes from 3 places, fear, ignorance or repression
Fear - Well he has nothing to fear, no gay man would ever go there
Ignorance - Stay in your boʊɡən bubble, but there is so much more in life, but his life, he wants to limit it his loss
Repression - Im sure there is a niche for him, but overall, good luck with that, or keep getting cheap thrills from showering with your mates post D regional grade football team

This. It shows the type of person someone is if they're calling people names on the street well into adulthood. He probably plays knock knock run still after his carton of VB with his only friend.

If it had of happened to someone else I'd be pissed, I remember walking behind a girl by herself and a car full of guys kept driving past yelling stuff out to her, obviously making her feel uncomfortable, and probably scared, so I got closer and just said don't worry, and walked her to where she was going (which actually probably scared her more) but made me so angry, they weren't saying "bad" things, but was total intimidation a car full of guys woof whistling and scaring a girl by herself for their own wanky mob mentality bravado bullshit with 0 respect for her, completely pisses me off!
If it had a been a few guys in the car and wasn't just that stupid comment I maybe would of felt a bit more intimidated, but he was a big boy, and I am 6 foot, broad, and had self defence training (working in psych) Im pretty sure if he got out I would be quicker than him and know some disabling techniques so honestly just made me laugh, groups though, different story!
