Monday Night Live, Tuesday Evictions and Finale Date revealed

Evictions being on Tuesday seems good.

Last year it felt like we had little coverage over the weekend, and then someone was getting evicted straight after.
Yes, it doesn't bode well for weekend coverage. So that will mean Friday, Saturday and Sunday's events will probably make little appearance on Monday's "live" show.

I also expect that Monday's "Live" show will be pre-recorded house in front of a "live studio audience" yet again. PFFFFT.

Well with The Block, the Footy Show and Friday night football (initially at least I believe) it's unlikely they'll have time for BB on Thursdays or Fridays, so hopefully they'll be a Sunday show, but that would need to cover Wednesday to Saturday.

BOOOOOO! :poop:

Sounds like this year we are getting even less Big Brother than ever before!

80 days. Only 3 nights (90 minutes each, including commercials) of televised coverage.

The rest of the coverage in the house we will have to catch up on their 1 minute "live feed" videos with commercials in those as well :arghh:. And I am sure they think that is perfectly reasonable.:wtf:

We need some extra shows on GO! if they can't fit it on NINE.

No shows on Sunday, Thursday and Friday is unacceptable! :singing::singing::singing:

BB 3 out of 7 days is going to be pitiful (if this is correct).

And telling us there are more hours broadcast will NOT make up for the fact that events are squeezed to fit multiple days into a brief overview, broadcast out of chronological order, or skipped entirely to fit a 24x7 event into 3 nights a week.

I'm optimistic that we won't only have 3 nights a week while The Block and the NRL season is in force. Thursday might be out but I'd say Friday is still a Go!er. See what I did there? In fact, it would be smart to put it on Nine in AFL states on Friday (we can miss a few Big Bang repeats can't we?), and just play it on GO in NRL states.

History tells us it's not going to happen. Nine don't want to use their multi channels for Big Brother content unless it's encores for some strange reason??

True, but between last season and now analogue TV has been closed off all around the country. That means everyone who can access Nine can also access GO - they're both SD digital channels. The only exceptions to this would be places who watch through methods like Foxtel Satellite, Hospital distribution etc that might not have the multichannels yet.

The best GO! can help for it probably a simulcast on Nine, GO! and Gem. That seems to be the in thing. Sadly the Australian commercial networks seem to have no idea how to use their multi-channels to their advantage.

The less Nine show BB though the more a 24/7 live feed is needed. Waiting from Wednesday to Sunday for a show isn't so much of an issue with a live feed generating interest during their days off, but without it any momentum the show can build one week is completely gone by the next time it airs.

5pm?

Daylight savings would make it actually 6pm. So I guess there's an hour delay between the show and it broadcasting on TV from 7pm (I assume News/ACA will be cut down again this year like last year). OR maybe it is actually 6pm (so 7pm daylight savings time) and the ticketing website doesn't know how to handle daylight savings time until we're actually in daylight savings. That's my theory ;)

This sounds like a big mess brought on by Channel 9's unpredictable programming schedule. Hopefully less time = less housemates = more intimate moments.

If this was another channel I would be more excited but as Ch9 have the knack of ballsing things up royally I'm still sitting on the 'let's wait and see' basis.

So good it had to be posted twice. :D

Friday Night Football only runs until 26th Sept, and the final Footy Show of the year will be 2nd Oct. Interesting to see if daily shows return to those days once free

I hope they dont have only 3 days a week, that would be a first.

I wonder what Games they will have, maybe Monday night is their new games.

It really sounds like they are going for a UK style this year, now they only need some massively full on people who are always scheming and backstabbing.

I'm positive it won't only be three days a week!
They'll probably have like half an hour on Thursday but still have a proper show in Sunday!

I'm honestly glad that it's going for 80 days (could even go less IMO). Sometimes they draw it out for too long. Almost lost interest in 2013. Failed to keep up in the last few weeks of 2012.

Couldn't agree more. 80 days is perfect as far as I'm concerned.
