I really like the colour of the clouds:angelic:Who's ready?
Of course, it turned out to be shit, but...
I agree. It'll probably be the most watched thing this week.

Well the football is only on in Sydney and Brisbane (I think some one correct me if I am wrong on anything here) the other states have the block on. Football only rates high towards the end of the season and Sate Of Origin always rates very high.I think I'd disagree here. 2005 was, for me, one of the better seasons. It's definitely better than anything we've had post-2005. Not as good as 2001-2003, sure, but miles better than 2004 or anything that came after. That's pretty good, in my book. I'd take 2005 again over most of what we get these days.
Comparatively, what are the ratings for weekly football? Even though I'm not from Australia, if it's anything like American football in the U.S., the ratings must be huge, and you're right, that means a larger viewership.

And then I read Goons reply NO...teach me to read all the pages before asking a question.
What's this thurday 'footy' business y'all talking about? I'll take a stab in the dark and guess you guys are referring to one of those thugby things popular up in the heathen north. Well have to break it to ya but there's no 'thursday footy' in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania etc... where it barely (if ever) rates a mention.
Bunch of insular heathens, don't know why I expect better.![]()

I've no idea, I think its just a big night cos they normally have deals on for Takeout & stuff.I think I'd disagree here. 2005 was, for me, one of the better seasons.
