Thanks Goon.

At least we don't have to bother stalking Ch 9 each night hoping for it to magically appear.

You'd think there could be some tantalizing articles on the jump-in site or SOMETHING in the lead up. Even the last two seasons have managed to post something.

I think Channel Nine's problem is it relies to heavily on "ratings" to determine what program is most profitable for them. They seem to neglect the importance of SM and people talking about the show, and continuing to talk about the show after it finishes. If they came on here during the height of "Tully-gate" when people from across the globe were talking on this forum, maybe they would understand how dedicated BBAU fans are. Even last night when we thought the ad was going to be on, there were 100's of posts. Just for an ad.

I think the problem is that Aussie advertisers and therefore Ch 9 don't care that people from around the world are interested in BBAU because it doesn't put any money in their pockets. Companies pay jacked up prices for ads based on ratings so whether we're a dedicated stan or just a casual viewer, we mean the same thing to them. Basically the same as when you see Americans having write in campaigns to save shows in danger of being cancelled. They're completely fanatical about the show and people from outside the US will stream it or whatever but it all comes down to ratings.
