Goon didn't slip, he told us, we just kept watching regardless. at least the ratings would have been up for the show, a deceptive positive for CH9 :)

I'd love to say otherwise, but I agree. Unless they're pushing it back further this year?
 
My guess a couple of weeks ago was mid to late September and some were poo poohing that as a regular season would fall outside of ratings but if 9 sticks with 5 weeks of promos as they have in the past and Goon said they were continuing with, if they put up an ad this week that brings us to the week of Sept 15th. If we don't get the promo this week then it's Sept 22nd or later. I'm still going with the few of you who suggested a shorter series this time. If they have it ending outside of the ratings period then they may as well give it back to TEN next year.

Outside of the ratings period.

No one is watching TV over Christmas.

Extra staffing and production costs.
 
Agreed ^^^ and it's kind of cruel to keep people (Staff and HMs) away from their families at that time of the year.
 
We've been told its September, We've been told the promo is ready to go. It's all going to happen, they cant cancel the show what will Sonia do?

Its just being grossly under promoted but they don't seem to care because they have The Block this year.
 
I honestly think that if it wasn't for Sonia officially announcing a season for 2014, that we wouldn't be getting any Big Brother at all at this stage.

I think so too, I don't think they realise the potential they have with Big Brother though.. They could've even done a Big Brother/The Block overlap where they integrate the shows together.
