That "Nine Insights" newsletter earlier on this thread talking about product integration in BB, has that been sent out prior to previous seasons of BB before?

Could that be their way of drumming up more advertising revenue and therefore being able to drag it into the non-ratings period, perhaps?

Doesn't ratings season end around mid November? That must mean it has to start start around the 1st to have at least 12 weeks of show.

Interesting! From what i recall from previous years, all the top rating shows wrap up at least a week before the official survey period ends. I doubt they would have the finale during the final week of ratings when tv viewership has already dropped off.

In that case my guess would be starting in second week of September and running to the end of ratings. 12 week series.

So either the Block is shorter or some definite overlapping

My official punt: Since The Block is starting 2 1/2 months later than last year, BB will start no sooner than late September.

Thanks Goon! So I'm still sticking with this ^^^. If they follow last year's rollout, they'll do at least 5 weeks of ads so I expect we'll start seeing them mid August.
