well i don't know how he can show his face at the Hillsong conference now, that's the only good i can see out of this, unless he bought shares :eek:

Isn't it subjective to determine what is and is not useful information? And how would you know until you actually have the information? Its definitely a situation you will never find yourself in again, but I don't think that means their actions do not tell you something of their character. "Why relive the past?" Because their can be important lessons to learn from the past. Maybe they would see something in themselves that they want to change or see something in the people around them that they don't want to bring into their life again. Learn from history or repeat it. I don't see the benefit of ignoring information. Once you have the information, you can decide to disregard it as nothing of importance or move on. But why not get the information?
 
if Tim still wants to work in radio in the future, he has to be careful about saying things like that.
I wonder if anyone will bring it up, if Tim goes back on the kyle and jackie o show?
Tim nearly ruined Richard Wilkins 60th bday party surprise last week... he doesn't want to rock the boat, if he wants a future on tv or radio

For example if Jade were to watch the show and see that Mikkayla said that she intentionally encouraged the Ed thing because she wanted Jade to look bad to the audience, or that she encouraged her with the bracelet thing, Jade would probably be very hurt. Tahan telling Drew she wished Tully would get evicted is another one. Tully would be incredibly hurt hearing that from Tahan, and even though in reality she said it at a time that they all wanted Tully out, it could hurt hearing it now given they're friends. And like, what's the point of that? Ruining a friendship they've mostly built out of the house based on something that happened ages ago in a completely different environment.

They can say they won't let it change anything all they want, but you can bet each and everyone of them would find a whole range of things to be shocked or offended about watching it.

But doesn't the fact that they acted that way in the context of the game tell you something about their character? That's the whole "social experiment" side of the Big Brother experience. Whatever they do in the game tells you something about them. That they are willing to do what it takes to win or get further at the expense of someone else.

I get where you are coming from, but I would want to know. I don't think sticking your head in the sand and ignoring it is really the way to go. At this point there is probably no point in reliving it, the time for that has probably past, as you point out. But I would have been fascinated to see what the other people in the house did, said and thought of me. And if that results in strained relations, that is based on things they did and said in front of millions of people. So be it. They say ignorance is bliss but it would be far too interesting for me to ignore.

Not wanting to see yourself? That is way more understandable for me.

Dexter chose us as a 'Perfect Match' hence the TV Prize, I guess I picked the right bloke, on the night.

The date was great. We got on great. As friends.

He forgot to take his passport to the airport, and that was a major drama. His 'girlfriend' came to the rescue and brought it to him, so he could head off on the 'date'. That sort of broke anything happening.

Before 'she' arrived, I stocked up on a heap of reading material, and thought this was going to be awesome trip away, by myself with another couple and the chaperone ......

Anyway, he was a spunk, very good looking and talented. I used to do music and songwriting back then, as he did - so there was a bit of a connection. Not sure where he is in life now. He was studying Marine Biology at the time.

When I had to tell the retake of the date, it was an awful time. I was so jet lagged and they tried to put words into my mouth and I resisted so much. It never went to air. My Date even made up and strummed a song about us, that I never got to see.

Funny thing is, that his first name is the same as my long time partner.

makes a dream about him easier if you happen to scream out his name ;) did you ask him why he went on the show if he had a GF, and what did she think about all this? must not have been too worried if she made the effort with his passport. GFWB? were you able to have a look around Singapore when you were there. or was it filming stuff for the show?

and this explains the rapping, hidden talent my ass, you are a pro 😄

LOL - Did you see the Goldbergs ad on last week? When there was a name yelled time and time again? It was funny here!!!!!
I actually had met my boyfirend, at the time one week before we did the show. So I was in no position to judge. My BF cried when I selected #2.
